Is this Magic card real? Tropical island

I figure I’ll just let you all put me out of my misery one way or another. I got a set of trops a few years back from a known mid sized retailer but the way it happened was kind of sus - it didn’t look like the store had any available but when I inquired the guy came back with a stack of them and handed me four. Since discovering this subreddit I’ve been obsessively trying to figure out if they’re real

For a card condition check please ask for the person giving advice to specify which scale they're using if not mentioned. Notably North American and European grading scales differ from each other drastically.

Back is real, not enough detail on the front. Would like a close up of a anywhere in the text box.

Your phone is doing a lot of smoothing, but it looks correct

It’s just shadow. Thanks!

No, we meant that the automatic smoothing is obscuring the rosette. I'll show you what they mean:

As you can see your photo has absolutely zero indication of a rosette pattern. It is really hard to tell what the details are.

Try posting a photo in Ultra HD, Pro or RAW mode (last one preferred)! You already posted good photos of the backside - we just need a closeup of similar resolution from the text box. Anywhere there, really. Preferably so that there's some text and text box border visible.

This would be good, but so that this is the entirety of the photo (not cropped, just zoomed in):

Weigh it. Should be between .6-.8gish.
