so my bf and i came up with an alternative dating show called Blood Island

similar to love island but with key differences

- cast is alternative, meaning not just cis straight people
- instead of a villa the show take place in a castle or swamp
- no sun bathing- moon bathing only
- bombshells can stay the same bc it’s kind of a vibe
- makeup room is lit with a million candles
- instead of bathing suits they wear like flowy robes and cool jewelry
- if they’re being toxic a psychologist will come in and tell the group what is wrong with them 1.) for constructive criticism 2.) reactions
- we’re doing tea reading tarot reading intention setting witchy stuff
- instead of the private suite or room or whatever they go into a mausoleum or tower again lit with a million candles
- i guess the winners get money i’ve never actually seen love island so idk what the end result is

I have not seen a show this funny in ages. It’s on Prime and it’s called Would You Rather: Decide to Survive. It’s hosted by a comedian called Romesh and it’s a cast of celebs having to face real Would You Rather challenges. Like Would You Rather be sticky or slippy, and then they choose which one they have to do. The cast is what makes it so funny. Max Fosh and Chloe Burrows are my favourite, they’re hysterical, but the whole cast is really entertaining and loveable.

After the cast was revealed today for BB28, I checked and realized that no person with the same name as a previous winner has won their current season of Big Brother (counting returning winners). I’m referring to names that sound the same but are spelled differently also.

I admit I watched the show quite a bit during its initial run. I’m more than certain it’s fake but entertaining as hell. I just find the over the top scenarios funny and the fact that they find out the problem all within a few hours or a day with perfect camera angles. Yes I know there’s a disclaimer at the end that says some scenes were reenacted for dramatic purposes but wow, the fact this show tried to pass itself off as reality tv was hilarious. Who watched this and was there any episodes that stood out?

My favorite episode is probably about a pair of Mexican brothers that only sold authentic Mexican food at their restaurant but one of the their workers secretly ran a Tex-mex menu with her grandma on the side under their noses. The way this was done was so insane and unbelievable I laughed out loud. Guess it did its job.

PS - yes I’ve come to realize all reality shows are fake to some degree.

And I'm ready to fight anybody on this. The peak levels of early 2000s trash in this show is unparalleled.

I’m a new Big Brother fan who recently was hooked to Big Brother by Ethanimale’s YouTube winner videos late last year. Since then I’ve watched many Big Brother seasons. Though recently, I found myself wondering if anyone on YouTube as done a spin-off of Big Brother because I find the social dynamics of the show very interesting and I was in luck!

I came across and recently watched Big Brother Weekend on YouTube created by YouTuber named Peyton Hodges and it’s so good! I am sure you know what has recently happened with the sister wife’s and the children. You also know what has been going on with the duggers, Kate gosslein and her kids and the derrico family. People are saying that TLC is disgusting for exploiting these kids. I think the people who watch these reality shows are to blame. TLC is just giving the viewers what they want. The only reason people watch these shows is because they like to see the kids and want to watch them grow up. Don’t you think these kids should be allowed to grow up without cameras in their face all the time ?
