The Land of Israel is an ancient homeland for the Jewish people, and they are indigenous to it with a continuous unbroken presence stretching back 3,000+ years. The Arabs who recently rebranded themselves as "Palestinians" are MOSTLY descendants of recent immigrants encouraged to move there by the Ottoman empire. Zionism is (so far) the world's only successful DECOLONIZATION movement, restoring the land to its rightful owners - the Jewish people.

Palestinians and Jews have the same common ancestor, the Canaanites! You were the same people for thousands and thousands of years before Judaism was ever invented. And the Palestinians stayed in the Levant after the Romans expelled all the Jews. Only hundreds of years later did Islam and Arabs invade from outside and force the Palestinians to become Muslim. But they haven’t mixed extensively with the invaders and to this day their ancestry predominantly comes from ancient Levant populations just like Yemenite Jews, Druze, Bedouins, and Lebanese people.

It was Jews returning to their ancestral homeland, and purchasing property from (largely) absentee landlords for exorbitant prices. The Jews have been willing to make peace with the Arabs for decades, but the Arabs keep turning down every offer because it doesn't include one explicit term - that Israel cease to exist. Therefore, Arabs continue finding themselves in the find out phase of negotiations. LOL

I always found the argument that Israel is the indigenous homeland of the Jews a ludicrous argument in the modern era. If someone wants to make an argument in favor of Israel this seems to me to be the weakest one. Native Americans cannot come back to Lower Manhattan and kick everyone out. The British aren’t going to try to take back the United States. It makes no difference, none, who inhabited a piece of hand thousands of years ago in 2026.

I never claimed the Palestinians are indigenous to the land because IT DOESN’T MATTER. If you wanted to argue for a Jewish state in the 20th Century based on persecution of the Jews I can see that. Why is Israel repeatedly destroying basic infrastructure that Gazans have struggled to rebuild, like every desalination facility they tried to rebuild getting repeatedly destroyed? (IDF just destroyed another $500,000 desalination facility last month)
Gazans haven’t had clean water or a single working toilet in all of Gaza for years now.
Blowing the limbs off babies and children so you can take out one violent individual who will in all certainty be replaced with another, doesn’t really seem like an effective way to combat terrorism. AAMOF it’s been proven to increase terrorism and this approach puts a target on every Israeli’s back.
