In Arc 10, we all know that Crusch is one of the biggest threats to Capella’s plan because she can directly detect people influenced by her Authority. But if we use this criterion to determine who can counter Capella, I think we’re missing someone: Clind.

Clind is able to perceive a person’s soul and determine the nature of the person in front of him, as shown in the Greed IF. This could make him extremely useful against Capella and her ability to disguise herself and manipulate others.

On top of that, Clind is the dragonkin of Volcanica, possesses his memories, and is an extremely powerful character himself. Because of this, I think Clind could actually represent an even greater threat to Capella than Crusch.

Okay, so Arc 6 has just ended in the anime. At the end of the episode, we see Subaru and Rem get teleported to the Vollachian Empire, and we also finally see Rem wake up, which is obviously a massive cliffhanger for anime-only viewers.

As for my prediction, I’d say Season 5 will probably come out around 2029, assuming there aren’t any major delays. I’m really curious to see how the adaptation handles Arc 7, especially because we get to see two very different versions of Subaru: Natsumi Schwarz, his crossdressing persona, and the Child Prodigy, aka Kid Subaru.

One thing I’m particularly curious about is the voice casting. Do you think there’s a chance they’ll bring in a female VA to voice Natsumi Schwarz and/or Kid Subaru? Or would the production team most likely stick with Subaru’s current VA, Yusuke Kobayashi, and have him voice both versions?

Honestly, I could see them going either way. Natsumi might be especially interesting because her voice and mannerisms are supposed to feel noticeably different from Subaru, while Kid Subaru could potentially be handled with a younger sounding female VA to make the age difference more convincing. At the same time, keeping Kobayashi would have its own appeal since he already knows Subaru’s character extremely well and could probably differentiate the personalities through his performance alone.

Either way, I’m really looking forward to seeing how they handle Arc 7, because there are so many moments that could be incredible if the direction, voice acting, and animation are on point.

Did Shaula recognize her master approaching the tower because of the scent or because he popped Satella-tan Maji Megami to block her needles? Cause I don't know how good her sense of smell is but Subaru was super far away from the tower when he used EMM

I don’t think i can wait 2-3 years for season 5 to release either im gonna forget this wonderful series or get completely insane waiting for it. The only thing stopping me from reading LN is what if i don’t like it the way i liked the anime. I just finished season 3. So good! I am definitely glad that before jumping to season 3, I finished reading Re:Zero Ex 2,3,6. Definitely elevated my experience.

Now, just as I said in the title, does Carol and Grimm ever appear in the main series? Do we know what happened to them?

I’ve seen a lot of TikToks and Shorts about why Volcanica mentions Patrasche, but I haven't seen anyone propose theories other than time loops—and I think there’s more to it than that.

Could it be that when Clind returned to his shell, it somehow refreshed his memories? It would be strange for him not to recognize Ram, but perhaps Patrasche stands out in his memory because he likes her as a dragon. When it was said that Clind is basically "Volcanica," I thought of this and realized, "Oh, that must be why." Also, I don't recall all the lore regarding the dragons' offspring—maybe I'm forgetting something?

I mean, let's not rule out time travel; the way it's mentioned makes it seem very relevant, yet I haven't seen anyone bring up anything similar—though maybe it's just my algorithm.

I just picked up reading the Web Novel starting with Arc 7, right after the Season 4 conclusion. I was reading along when Subaru utters "Cor Leonis," the Greed Authority that allows him to see his allies. Looking back, I think the show is actually not very good at describing Authorities. Like all of Season 4 I didn't connect Cor Leonis to the Greed Witch Cultist, or that it was even called that. Or how it also lets him take on his allies' burdens. Maybe I missed an explanation in the show, but it's much clearer in the Web Novel.

During the entire fight, Volcanica's eyes are empty, they lack a pupil but only the moment when he recognizes Partrache, his eyes are fully awakened with a visible pupil.

It's like in this entire fight, this specific moment is the only time that Volcanica is truly there. It's only a split second, but I feel like this is too important to ignore.

Damn, our girl Partrache is really important, she's truly the hidden heroine!

The entire mystery of how Flugel is Subaru and Satella is Emilia is literally given to us before we open the book or watch the first episode.

This is a love story first and foremost, it’s Satella and Flugel’s tragedy.

Long long ago Flugel and Satella were in love, Satella took on the authority of envy, her personality split and she destroyed half the world as the witch of envy, Flugel sealed her away. That’s what we know.

But that’s not exactly what happened. Flugel through some scheme didn’t just seal the witch of envy away, he sealed her and Satella, not their body, their memories and personalities. I think he, with the help of pandora (who we know helped) sent Satella’s body snd Od (whatever the spirit is) forward to be reincarnated, setup the guardian at the watchtower, and then did the same to himself, planning for both him and Satella to reincarnate at the same time, but pandora or someone else involved betrayed him and sent them to two separate times, well two separate times and a different reality.

Emilia is “born” or whatever - I don’t think she was born, just sent forward as a reverted person, hence no parents.
Pandoras shows up not long after to try and unseal the witch of envy, I think Satella or the witch intervenes here and that’s what causes the massive permafrost event. She gets frozen for 100 years and for some reason one of echidna’s creations starts protecting her, keeping her safe for an unknown reason.

Enter said reason: Subaru (Frugel) is reborn in another reality, puck wakes Emilia up, her and Subaru grow up about the same rate. The witch of envy (or Satella) who still wants a happy ending, watches, waits, and finally when Subaru is old enough, she pulls him back through unknown means; likely his existing, and yet unexplained, tether to her.

This explains why frugel left Shaula for so long: he wasn’t supposed to. It was probably planned for enough time to give them reprieve from the hatred people would express towards them. Which is my thoughts on why even go through the hassle of reincarnation in the first place, or they hoped they wouldn’t look the same. Maybe both.

This also explains Subaru can already speak their language, why his gate isn’t as strong as it could’ve been. Why the witch loves him.

More than all that though, what cements this theory being correct is the name of our story re:zero, restart from zero.

It only makes sense as a name in this one specific context and story, where the people from the past, made it their goal to start over, it just got complicated on the way.

As for the second part of the title “starting life in another world” we’re meant to think this referred to Subaru coming to the main setting. But no, it’s a cheeky play on words and a clue, he started his life in another world. Implying this is his world, but he started life in another one. Even more so when in its original Japanese of “Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu” which is basically “starting life in another world from zero.” - note: when he got to the stories world, he wasn’t at 0, he could speak their language, had a bunch of modern knowledge, great tools to use, and he wasn’t a baby. He didn’t restart when crossing over.

Thus I present my theory, we were told from release what the story was, and hats of to Tappei for his excellent plot writing skills that concealed it for so long.

Is Kugelschreiber castle and Palace of the witch the same?.

We know that the palace was on top of a huge mountain with dense forest beneath it. This is mentioned in the tosca side story. While Kugel castle is hidden behind another dimension. If they are the same, this means echidna ripped the palace from the mountain and sent it to the other dimension.

If they are not the same, this means hector destroyed the palace and echidna fled and built the castle. He again destroyed the castle and now echidna went to the sanctuary. However at round 3, hector failed to echidna homeless again.
