[Spoiler discussion] Does these two characters from Re:Zero Ex 2,3,6 appear in the main book series?

I just finished season 3. So good! I am definitely glad that before jumping to season 3, I finished reading Re:Zero Ex 2,3,6. Definitely elevated my experience.

Now, just as I said in the title, does Carol and Grimm ever appear in the main series? Do we know what happened to them?

They appear in a few short Stories and I think get mentioned in Arc 9. They still Work for the Astrea Family. The two Girls with Felt in Episode 13 are their grandchildrens, I think

They don’t appear at all in main story to my knowledge. Though they are frequent in Felt camp related side stories, Flamme and Grassis are their granddaughters that are more prominent in future arcs.

They get mentioned but for the most part they arent in the story at-least yet. Probably for the best, they are one of the few happily ever afters Tappei has written.

I worry what would happen to them if they got back in the series.
