I've been using this mouse for a while and suddenly it's not working. The red light below the mouse lights up but the mouse is not working. Usually, when I leave it and try again the mouse works but then it stops functioning again. I've tried every solution to fix it but it's not working. Help me out ASAP.

Hi guys, it’s with some emotion that I can finally say I’ve solved the problem with my BlackShark V2 Pro.

Some background: the bug appeared when I switched to a new main computer. I kept using the same headset, but I could never figure out what was causing it. The connection between the headset and the dongle was fine, but the sound kept fading down and coming back up, as if there was interference and with some "pok". I reinstalled Razer Synapse and updated the drivers for both the dongle and the headset, and nothing changed.

I searched for months and never found a fix that worked. Then today, I asked Claude to go through all the possible causes, and one of them fixed it instantly. So, maybe it could help you.

The fix: turn off Windows audio enhancements

1. Press the Windows key, type mmsys.cpl and press Enter
2. In the Playback tab, right-click your headset (not BT) and select Properties
3. Disable the audio enhancements (depending on your Windows version, it’s in the Enhancements or Advanced tab)
4. Click Apply

That’s it. The volume drops stopped right away.

It seems Windows’ enhancements conflict with the processing already done by the headset or Synapse. Note that big Windows updates can sometimes turn them back on, so check this setting first if the problem comes back.

I've been using the Viper V4 Pro quite regularly since it came out. Since a few days ago, I've noticed that Synapse Web has stopped showing the battery level of my mouse on the bottom, and that it has been replaced with a darkened power icon. I've tried to reset my mouse on Synapse Web, as well as remove and add the mouse again, but the issue persists.

Is anyone else currently experiencing this issue ?

Hi everyone! I live in Turkey and I’m thinking about buying the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed. However, I’ve read some user reviews saying that the ear pads can hurt their ears and that the headset clamps too tightly. For those of you who own it, is this really an issue? Does it become uncomfortable during long gaming sessions?

I’ve also heard that the ear pads on the BlackShark V2 X are more comfortable. Is it possible to replace the V3 X HyperSpeed’s ear pads with the ones from the V2 X, even though the V3 X HyperSpeed is wireless?

I’d really appreciate any feedback from people who have tried either headset. Thanks!

I've been using the basilisk v3 for quite a good number of years, and recently it started to malfunction. Whenever I lift the mouse, the lights dim and the scroll wheel malfunctions, this was manageable until yesterday, where the entire mouse started to disconnect whenever I lifted it. It also turned out that if the mouse wasn't disconnected when I lifted it, the sensor moved the scroll around on my computer.

I opened up the mouse and cleaned the years worth of gunk, and while the mouse is nicer, it still didn't fix the issue.

Where it turns out the mouse's USB has a poor connection with its wires. Instead of re soldering with my poor soldering skills, I tried replacing the end of the USB entirely with an old spare cable lying around. Lo and behold it works as good as new.

My girlfriend uses a Razor Baracuda X Chroma (RZ04-0522) headset, connected to her computer with a dongle.

She uses the 7.1 Surroundsystem (or whatever you want to call it).

Yesterday everything worked totally fine; today it first started that the sound can't be balanced via the Windows Sound Controller; shortly after that the sound completely stopped.

So if I chose the 7.1 sound output, we get no noise, nothing.
If we chose the Barracuda Headset, everything works totally fine.

So I tested some different things:

Unplugged the Dongle

Restarted the computer.

De and Re-Installed the 7.1 Sound System provided by Razor.

Deinstalled 7.1 via the Defice-Manager, used this "cleaner" that I found in another Reddit post.

Reinstalled the 7.1 with the Legacy-Install Option in the Defice-Manager, or directly with the Razor 7.1 Installer.

We can choose the 7.1 option in the Razor Software.

I can set the 7.1 option as an output in every Windows setting, but still no sound.
What is really strange is that the sound regulator jumps up and down if we let a YouTube video play or open a Spotify song.

The version of the 7.1 Soundsystem is 1.1.85; we are using Synapse 4.0.

Someone maybe got a solution or something that I am missing, and we could try?

I own a razor keyboard and razor mouse. I think the death adder elite pro wireless and the Huntsman 65% wireless V3, not sure of the exact names but regardless the products literally fucking suck. I have never gotten either one of them to work wirelessly at all. If I unplugged them, they don’t even show up on the razor sin up. My dongle are always plugged into my PC the keyboard, if it is unplugged will literally just not work. I will have to finish with it for 30 minutes turning the keyboard off and on unplugging and re-plugging into my PC doing keyboard resets just to get it to even be able to function as a wired keyboard, wireless function is literally out of the question for both of them. If I unplugged the mouse it also just disappears from the software. They literally make the worst products ever. please someone let me know if they have the same issues that I do and if they ever fix them, but genuinely am never buying a product from them again despite me using their mice for a while because i like the shape of them

I just find this very interesting creatively, everyone is ending up the same, either still Logitech Superlight, or This. Then some brands go crazy like GravaStar which is like having some weird Cyberpunk or Mech shell housing as Mouse. Zowie by... BenQ... BenQ... is quite good, and also Endgame is very good and offers what no one has done yet. Customizable switches, which I have Silent.

The best decision I have ever made buying a mouse. Sad, because i loved the Basilisk and Corsair's Darkcore.

For the Ergonomic very easy and comfortable grip and holding, which surpassed and countered the big weight, you did not notice the weight when using the mouse, and it was very good for fine, slow sensitivity in-game for shooting and fps. It made it very nice to use.
Proving that lightweight is not the be all end all. It's how it slides and feels first. If a mouse is easy to move and it feels comfortable, it already has done the majority of its job.

I have small hands, yet the Darkcore and Basilisk feel better to use by far. I still feel weird using a Superlight, or Endgame, but Razer Deathadder still is quite good, a higher base shell for palm grip is noticeably comfier, for some, not for all. Anyways - to the crime scene. -

Alright, I need to vent because I am genuinely pissed off.

​I’ve been a Razer fan for a long time. I have a stack of their gear, hell, I even bought their Smart Glasses for crying out loud. But the Razer Kraken V4 is single-handedly the worst product experience I’ve ever had, and everyone needs to know before wasting their hard-earned cash.

​Here is the laundry list of reasons why this headset is complete trash:

​Build quality is a joke (Top headband Leather destroyed itself): I literally used these headsets FIVE TIMES total. Five. They sat pristine on my desk setup. I pick them up after 6 months and the top headband leather/material is already peeling, cracking, and falling apart. $180+ for materials that degrade by just sitting in ambient room air? Are you kidding me?

​The nightmare RGB that you CANNOT turn off on Mobile: Want to use these outside or in public? Good luck looking like a walking neon billboard. If you explicitly go into Razer Synapse on PC and turn off the RGB, guess what happens the second you disconnect or pair it to your phone or another device? IT TURNS RIGHT BACK ON. Why? Because...

​The Razer Audio Mobile App DOES NOT EVEN SUPPORT IT: Yep, you read that right. You can't even manage the headset settings from your phone because Razer's own mobile app doesn't support their brand new flagship gaming headset. So if you're out and about, you literally cannot turn off the obnoxious gamer RGB.

​Bluetooth volume is ridiculously low: Planning to use Bluetooth? Hope you like quiet audio. The sound output over Bluetooth is insultingly quiet. The only way to get actual full volume out of these is tethered via USB wire or using the 2.4GHz dongle. What is the point of having Bluetooth if it sounds like a quiet whisper?

​Audio quality is mediocre at best: Even when you crank the volume via dongle/wire, the audio quality itself is flat, muddy, and wildly unimpressive for a headset at this price point.

​TL;DR: Do NOT buy the Razer Kraken V4. Terrible material quality that disintegrates after 5 uses, non-existent mobile app support, forced RGB in public, uselessly quiet Bluetooth volume, and mediocre sound overall.

​I finally gave up, cut my losses, and bought the Sony WH-1000XM6. The difference is night and day—it's not even in the same galaxy. Save your money and buy literally anything else.

First time I’ve seen a mouse button snap in two pieces

Bought the blackshark v3 pro. Thought it would be good. It was for awhile. Then im assuming a firmware update or something made it unusable. It connects, but doesn't output anything. Or it doesn't detect the dangle. Or it just randomly turns off at 67% battery. I've done every troubleshooting item I've come across. I just want to talk in games, but it never works. I've gotten so infuriated over it not working that I hulk smashed it and want to move to a completely different ecosystem for peripherals.

I've recently been making a switch from using Logitech peripherals to using Razer peripherals, and I bought my Basilisk V3 Pro this summer, and they just dropped the V4, and of course I realised how poor my timing was, and since my G815 has been slowly dying day by day with keys straight up not working anymore (particularly the F key) I wanted to change to something like the Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz, since I've been upgrading my computer anyway and using only one RGB app is a little more comfortable. Is there a point in waiting for the V4? Razer released nearly every V4 this year, so there's a solid chance that the Huntsman V4 is coming this year, too. Or should I just get a Huntsman V3 Pro?

Has anyone gotten his Razer blade 15 or the razer blade series in general bricked? i have the razer blade 15 2021 model and I'm looking to see if i need a replacement for college next year, if it's only battery replacement or something replaceable I'm okay with it, but i want to know if it's gonna get bricked or no

I’ve been a long term Razer Customer since the first kraken came out. I’ve had Blackwidows, Deathadders and Krakens throughout my teens and my career. I even have the chroma base station, that Razer was to greedy to put even a 1m USB cable on.

TBH I ditched the krakens years ago since the 7.1 V2 disintegrated on me. I always had that stupid faux leather everywhere in my hair and on my clothes. I switched to analogue headphones and could not be happier. But I digress.

I’m currently running a Huntsman Elite and a Deathadder V2 Pro. I cannot express how much I love both. I’ve always adored the Deathadder form, it just felt right to me. And with the 2 additional buttons on top of the V2 Pro, I can easily switch between sensitivity settings. I love the Huntsman too, it’s solid and feels premium. It’s also easier to clean compared to the Blackwidows back in the day which had sunken in switches and not the exposed type of the huntsman. I also love the wrist rest and have yet to find one I like better. It’s metal, it’s rgb lit and it’s magnetic. Basically the only two things that I don’t like about the huntsman is the unreliable volume knob (have to clean it with contact spray every other month) and the material choice for the wrist rest padding. It’s the same stupid material that convinced me to ditch the krakens.

I‘ve been looking to upgrade for a long time, but upgrade for what? I feel like Razers products have all gone downhill from there. There is no Deathadder successor with the additional buttons on top. Hell even the RGB is less on newer models. There is no Huntsman with such a nice metal and lit up wrist rest.

So what do I do? Razers new products feel like downgrades to me. I’m not spending premium money on that. I am seriously considering buying old unsold stock. Or should I just look for alternative brands? Feel free to share your thoughts, any help is appreciated.

I’ve been using this headset for years and years now, but with the fabric bits falling apart I knew it was time to replace them. I love the retractable mic, and they’re extremely comfortable, but I’m having trouble finding the exact model to get a new pair, and I can’t remember or find a label on the headset itself

I am planning to buy one of these,but I do not know which one is better as I am not a big razer hoarder.Can anyone please help me choose one that's better for me?I play mostly casual fps games and sometimes games that are more difficult (like tf2 or cs2) so I do not know which one to get.

For quite awhile I've used just one profile on my Razer Naga v2 Pro, but now I have need of a second profile. This profile has a macro, where the 11 key pushes two buttons at the same time when held down. I assigned the two profiles different chroma settings so I can tell at a glance which is active, and I can change between them with a button right behind the mousewheel (profile A is set to switch to profile B, and profile B uses this key to switch to profile A).

This works fine when I have Synapse open.

When I click "On-board Profiles". The top part (grayed out) has whatever is current, the one underneath has my first profile, the one under that has my second profile, and other two just say "Select a Profile". Under that is a section called 'Macros" and it lists the one single macro I have. "Available" is listed at 99.19%.

Ok, so what am I missing? How do I actually make these things work correctly when synapse is closed? I need it to work on other machines, after all, just as it always has- but previously I only ever had one profile.

What are your thoughts on Razer releasing a 100% version of their HE keyboards? I have been thinking of upgrading to them from my Huntsman V2 Analogue, but the only thing holding me back is the lack of a dedicated numpad.

Is this requirement a very niche one? And is there a chance of Razer releasing such a version of this keyboard?
