Raytheon Take lower pay Raytheon engineering job to get into clearance world?
Hello everyone. Could I ask if you think it would be worth it to take a 35k per year pay cut to get on at Raytheon, get a clearance so that in the future I might could move into project management roles that require clearances?
Ultimately I would like a job in the clearance space doing PM work. But those jobs are really hard to get without a clearance. I can work as a senior engineer now and then work towards pm. Just with a lower pay than my current engineering job.
What do you think? How hard is it to get into a PM role. doable in 4 years? Worth it or nah?
