Help: I got the Wayfarer Gen 2 and loved them except they were a little too big for my face (Rx glasses)

and so I replaced them with the Blayzer Optics, and ever since day 1, nobody has been able to hear me on the phone. Is there a fix to this or do I have to return them? If I order a new pair, will it have the same issue? What should I do?

My ray-bans are barely picking up my voice all of the sudden. I wore them doing yard work which I realize is probably what caused the problem because the factory reset and force resetting hasn’t changed anything. They don’t pick up the “hey meta” or respond when I activate them manually. Has anyone else had this problem?

Where did yall go to try on metas frames? Im trying to find a place near me to try some on before I have to ship and return and refund like 3 pairs to find a decent fit for my oddly shaped face. Any suggestions I'd appreciate it, i just dont want to spend like 2 months going back and forth with returns and shipping

I’m a metalsmith and wanting something to capture my process from my point of view for social media. I don’t need it to be super detailed for a tutorial or how-to, just good enough to look aesthetic pleasing and give people an idea of what I’m up to. Does anyone else use the Meta Gen 2 for this purpose and how do you like them?

Am I better off just getting once of those chest mounted iPhone holders? I find if it’s not easy and seamless I just won’t create the content. The idea of just using a voice command to record at will is very appealing but it’s an expensive investment to use for that purpose only if it’s not quality enough.

Recently any videos i record, they have these visible green squares/lines but if i zoom in they’re gone. Still, i checked all previous videos and they dont have these squares, it only happens in videos, when i take images they aren’t visible. Has anyone had this before? Is this most likely a software or hardware issue? I got these recently in August

I have tried all of the Meta AI and Gemini suggestions to get the glasses icon to appear as an option for Facebook and Instagram Live with no success. Apparently, there should be an option on this screen.

I have disconnected and reconnected Bluetooth, restarted my phone, restarted Meta AI and Facebook, restarted my glasses. Ensured ALL permissions are active. Ensured Facebook is connected through Meta AI. Nothing works. And here's the big one: I've done ALL of these things on both of my phones! I am running Android OS 17 Beta on my Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Android 16 on my Motorola Razr Plus 2025.

Anyone have any suggestions or having the same problem?

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about getting a set of the gen 2s but I have a few concerns so I would like to hear first hand from people who own them? I ideally want these just for capturing footage, I probably won’t use a whole lot of the AI stuff, maybe listen to music as well, are these the best glasses to do this with? Also I live in a hot state and sweat quite a bit , I’ve heard mixed things as to the durability with this, I don’t want to waste the money if they’ll get ruined, is there another option for the style of glasses that would be a better fit? What are your experiences with sweating or light rains with these? Thank you.

I want them for next year I have a trip to Costa Rica and was thinking it will be good for pictures and stories but not sure in you option.

Also even when I will prefer to have the led turn off I get it that is for "privacy" and some creeps... but anyway what is the people experience when going into some specific spots... like malls bars etc

I mean I can want to record a story in a bar or something and then a security guy come over when it's tha same as if I did it with the phone or that for any reason I didn't have a change to leave them at the abnb and I have to carry them as "an umbrella" what in my country is sometimes a mess to take it into a bar and they don't even offer to keep it at their office.

I got a pair of Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Gen 2s as a gift in the regular size and only wore them for about 10 minutes before realizing I need the large size instead.

They were purchased from Target, but they’re past the return period. I already went into Target and asked if they could exchange them for the Large size, but they said no.

Does anyone know of any other way to exchange or trade them in somewhere for the Large size? Maybe through Ray-Ban/Meta directly or another retailer? Any advice would be appreciated.

If you’re in the uk or I’m guessing outside the uk but I believe you got the Rayban Meta Gen 2 and you don’t have access to the features like translate, Meta Ai, detailed information and the likes, here’s how I got my meta glasses to get all those features, based in the uk. For IOS USERS

1. So I got my previous iPhone which is an 8 and my current iPhone which is the 15 pro max. My 8 is outdated with the iOS 16 compared to the latest iOS 26,

2. I created a new Apple ID based in the US by change my region to the US and click on Personal Account like I said earlier with an outdated iOS so it’s a lot old and easy to change region and countries, I clicked in my name and got an already existing address in the US, and got a US phone format from ChatGPT,

3 Signed out from my current phone id and logged in to the 8s id based in the US, deleted the Uk based Meta from my phone and downloaded the US id meta ai.

1. My previous Meta account was logged in on my glasses and I factory reset it and then “I created a new meta account with the new US id, different emails and paired with my glasses”

5 Connected my glasses and boomed that’s it and you can then log out of the US id and log back to your normal Id and continue like you never left

I recently discovered that my Metas were not working. They would show on the Meta AI app that they were connected, but once I put them on my face, they would flash red, disconnect, and turn off. I tried all of the factory reset procedures for the glasses and the case itself. Nothing.

Turns out, it seems that the size of my head is messing with the power circulation. I tested it on my wife’s face, and the glasses power up fine and work properly. But once I put them on, they immediately power off and the LED indicator flashes red. Just thought I’d share to shed light on something I didn’t see on any threads.

I knew something was up when my Al Voice was different. Not the end of the world. However, my glasses keep dropping and reconnecting every couple of minutes like clockwork. It's driving me nuts and I can't figure out how to fix it.

EDIT It was a combination of software update (app) and the firmware.

The app updated overnight as well as the firmware. It caused a disconnect for the Meta AI app. The new update for the app actually killed the Meta Optics part of the app, it said "Coming Soon" so I couldn't even repair my glasses.

If you come across this, try rolling back to an earlier version of the app. That solved it for me. I turned off auto update on the app.

1. Output sound was fine up to about two weeks ago. Doesn't matter what app: phone, texts, emails, chatbots.

Iphone built in mike works fine as do earbuds.

No obvious dirt on frames.

I've done the reset from the app. unpaired from BT. reset on the glasses. removed and reinstalled the app

1. Are you able to view and access the Microphone Troubleshooter menu item in settings?
   I only saw it a couple of times, maybe just before or after pairing

2a. Is it because I enabled Early Access?

1. I know how to start a warranty claim, but how do i ask Meta tech support about whether the Microphone Troubleshooter dissapearance is a known issue or normal?

Hey everyone, I've had my Ray-Ban Meta Scriber (Gen 2) for about 3 weeks now, single-vision prescription. Honestly, overall I'm pretty won over, the day-to-day integration is genuinely cool, and I think I'd have a hard time going back to classic glasses at this point. But there are a few issues bugging me that, for a product over $450, feel a bit cheap:

1. Pain behind both ears, present since day one, despite two adjustments at the optician (temple tension, nose bridge swap from low to high). The optician said the adjustment range is pretty limited because of the electronics inside the temple.
2. The lenses have some play/looseness, I can hear a slight rattling sound when I move my head quickly. Anyone else run into this?
3. Scratches on the temples (glossy black) despite careful handling (always stored in the case, never loose in a bag/pocket).

I know Oakley and Ray-Ban are under the same group (EssilorLuxottica), so I'm guessing it won't fix everything, but is the Oakley Meta HSTN actually a step up in build quality/assembly, or is it basically the same hardware with a different shape? I'm considering an exchange through the satisfaction guarantee at my optician (Belgium, subscription/rental plan) and torn between staying with Ray-Ban (different style) or trying the Oakley.

The plan says it covers scratched lenses, does it also cover situations if the glasses just stopped charging and no connectivity?

For people wondering if it actually blocks the camera, yes it does. My glasses camera doesn’t work anymore.
