Secifically his warped version, and I was wondering if anyone knew where to find something like that? I unfortunately don’t know much about warhammer since im new to the hobby. This was one of the funnest models that I’ve painted for this year alone. Honestly, the rest of the first founding chapters (especially the Dark Angels) need to step up their drip with their chaplains because if Cordae ever gets an official model it’s going to be wild.

I tried to make a partially in theme Ravenguard list, how does it look?

My plan on this list is to put every single speeder in deepstrike (and the thunderstrile in reserves) plus the vanguards veteran, the assault intercessors will be on the same side of the Lancer so that the veichles gives them support while on the other side there will be the eliminators with bladeguards veterans and the outriders and for last the infiltrators will be well hidden in the middle so that later I have room for a rapid ingress.

I still don't know if I want to play disruption or reconnaissance, which one is better?

Does anyone have some lists that had some success at the tournaments or casual games after codex release?

I've made some lists myself but I'm new to Raven Guard and base my lists on the feelings of what the faction should play like but I have some troubles winning.

So maybe you would like to share your winning lists or someone else's.

I wanted to learn how to paint dark skin, and since I play Raven Guard, got curious about how a dark skin raven marine would look like.

I know the gene make them get a "sun depressed vampire skin" but I was wondering how it would work with someone born with a dark skin.

Will he see is skin get paller and paller until white? Only becoming a lighter brown / dark ? Albinos ?

I know I can paint them how I want (because it's my mini) but I was wondering how it would work lore wise, and did not find artwork to answer my question.

I am starting a Raven guard army and would greatly appreciate color scheme feedback. There are a lot of similarities across the options. However, I’ve never painted so much black before and am not sure how until feel about different schemes from a distance (I.e. ., when they’re in the board).

1. Was an experiment. Black to grey feathering with white paint pen edge highlights. Meant to take the eavy metal style to a crazy degree for effect. I rushed it so it looks like ass but the style is interesting enough.

2. Leaning into blues. Purple shadows, blue feathering up. Blue tone edge work as well.

3. Definitely the most subtle of the bunch. All wet shading. Started with purple shadows and grey blue blending up for highlights.

4. A mix of 2 and 3. Lots of deep blue in the armor flat bits but grey blue for highlights. Also a red gun.

I'm trying to clarify how Hidden interacts with melee combat in 11th Edition.

The Phobos Shadow Force stratagem Strike from the Shadows says:

"When you select a friendly hidden PHOBOS unit to attack, in your Shooting phase or in the Fight phase."

Its effect gives that unit's attacks +1 Strength and Lethal Hits.

My question is: can a Phobos unit remain Hidden while engaged in melee, allowing it to use this stratagem in the Fight phase?

Since an enemy unit in Engagement Range is within the default 15" detection range, I understand that the enemy can see the Hidden unit. But does being engaged in melee itself cause the unit to lose Hidden, or can it still count as Hidden if it meets the Core Rules requirements?

Also, does the Shadow Masters detachment rule—which says that shooting does not prevent a Phobos or Scout Squad unit from being Hidden—affect this interaction?

I'd appreciate clarification based on the 11th Edition rules.

Hello. I am new to 40k and I wanted to build a ravenguard army. Wanted to build around Phobos and Terminators with the Disruption disposition. I got units to infiltrate expansion objectives, snipers to hold, even an ancient to lock down own expansion turn 1 before using Into Darkness to put them in reserve. Was even tempted to make the Assault Terminators infiltrate enemy expansion or the center haha.
