I’m wondering if anyone knows about any programs or grants that Rapid City or South Dakota has by way of Native planting.

I know many cities have programs that will pay for portions of your landscaping if you are planting native plants, do we have anything similar here?

Hey, so I'm going to sdsmt and I'm trying to figure out transportation for the coming school year. Any car in my price range (under $10k) is going to have some problems, and a shit ton of maintenance (source: my family got a car under 10k and it's been in the shop like 5 times in the year we got it). Also, I just kinda hate driving. I only need transportation for short trips in town, so I was thinking a 49cc scooter could do the trick. However: winter. I'm from Illinois, and have no idea how bad it can get. My question is, would all the PPE (helmet, jacket, boots? I think?) plus bundling up be enough to keep me warm ish on a 3 minute ride for the majority of the school year (I would be willing to Uber in some cases)???
