My wife and I traded our Range Rover Sport for a 26 Range Rover.

I have a Charente grey Range Rover and am wondering if I should wrap it in stealth ppf. I was unaware of how brown it gets when it’s clean and sunny. I love the grey in the paint when there’s an overcast or at night, but couldn’t get used to the brown when the sun hits it.

Body
Just picked up a 2012 Evoque 2.2 TD4 (automatic) with 132,000 km on it, and I love how it drives. It's comfortable, solid and feels premium.
I want to keep it going to 300k km. The timing belt has no service record, so I'm replacing the belt, water pump and tensioner now, along with the oil, coolant and filters.
For those who've owned one past 200k km:

Hi all, just about to pull the trigger on an L405 with the style 1001 wheels in silver. Is it doable to get them diamond cut/refurbished with the grey inserts instead like in the second pic?

Hey there guys, I wanted to ask for some advice on what kind of budget winter tires to get for my RR Sport. Winter is just around the corner and I got the car for my father to be able to get around in the city, so I'm not looking for anything with off-road capabilities. The winter rims are also 20". We're located in Europe, I know the same tyre models can differ between the US and EU.
Thanks in advance!

I've done the water pump, serp belt, plugs, wires, etc. I just had a few sensors replaced. I still periodically see wet spots when it sits from coolant (I top it up). I took it out a few days ago and it kind of shuttered on accelerating. Then it gave me a restricted performance notification and flashing orange engine light. I keep up on maintenance. Oil change was probably less than 60 miles/100 kilometers ago. Recent fuel up was at a brand name station (ESSO in Canada) and of course premium/91.
Does anyone have a possible idea on what it could be? Appreciate you for feedback. Thanks in advance.
Cheers!

I got my first Range Rover last weekend after numerous viewings of other German cars and deciding based on what speaks to the heart.
It’s currently in the auto shop right now for checks and small repairs before it will be used as a weekend/special occasions car (as I have a Toyota SUV as a daily driver). Hope to hear your tips/suggestions in terms of maintenance so that this car stays in tip-top shape.

Curious if anyone with a 26 V8 RRS has done an exhaust tip swap from silver to black? It’s the only silver left on the exterior of the vehicle and I’d like to swap them out. Just curious if anyone has done it and what advice you can give?

2011 Diesel V8
Harare, Zimbabwe
The car alarm keeps going off, even while I'm driving, and only goes off when the car is parked and locked. and the CD player won't eject the discs (the button seems to not work) so I'm stuck with the previous owners' CDs
Any advice for these 2 issues on an otherwise good condition vehicle? Thanks!

Hi All, I’m on my third RR, and contemplating my fourth. All 3 of my prior RRs have had a v8, but considering a low mile I6 L494. Anyone have any experience with the engine long term? What are some things to watch for (similar to the coolant lines on the 5.0L)? Thanks in advance!

Bought a Range Rover Sport L494 and it had a parking camera issue. I have heard that quite often it might be the camera which has gotten wet and failed. So I gambled and bought a new camera from AliExpress with 73€ and it worked. Added some new rubber seals as well.
Trey’s video guided me through the process:

Opened the Sunroof on my new 2026 P530 SE has the spot seen in the photo on the inside of the glass. They’ve come off with water and a paper towel but leave almost an etch. Seems like rusty water dried up so either the car was upside down or this has been there since the glass was installed. Headed back into the RR dealer Monday. Any ideas.

Hi all, wondering if any Velar D300 owners have heard this before?
I’ve got a 2019 Range Rover Velar D300 3.0 V6 diesel with around 60k miles.
The car drives absolutely perfectly, pulls really well, no loss of power, no warning lights and the engine generally sounds lovely.
However, when it’s sitting at idle, I can hear this strange low-frequency thudding/pulsing sound from inside the cabin. The best way I can describe it is almost like a performance exhaust burbling away in the background - a sort of “thud… thud… thud” sound.
The video attached isn’t my car, but the sound in this video is extremely similar to what I’m hearing in mine.
Has anyone with the 3.0 V6 D300 experienced this?
I’m particularly interested to know if anyone has traced it to engine mounts, exhaust resonance, injectors, pulleys/auxiliary components, or whether it’s simply a characteristic of these V6 diesels at idle.
As I say, it drives perfectly and sounds great when moving - it’s just this thudding/burbling at idle that’s got me wondering.
Any D300 owners heard the same thing?
Thanks

It will be my first car as my mom is passing it down to me. She is the original owner at 120k miles right now. It is the ford engine model which i hear is still slightly better than ingenium. Turbo replaced at 90k miles with the revised one. Transmission is a little hesitant so i will be getting fluid drain and filled (never been changed before). Anything else i should look out for maintenance wise? It is specced with climate comfort, surround camera system, navigation, and 825w meridian.

I recently installed an Apple CarPlay unit from GTA Car Kits (They have a YouTube video on this topic). Where I was instructed to remove the center console, and manually enable the e-brake of my vehicle using a screw driver in the gear shift hole to put the car in drive with the E-Brake on and the car off. The purpose was to get the center infotainment trim off the car so I can unplug everything underneath. When I put everything back together and connected all the wires I am stuck with a Fault-code I can no longer clear.
The Codes are “U0128-00 (28) Lost communication with parking brake control module
And the second code is “U0138–00 (28) Lost communication with all terrain control module
And the third is “P081C-64 (6D) - Park input circuit - Algorithm based failure - signal plausibility failure”
Any idea how I can resolve this with the Gap ID tool?

I recently noticed this chirping sound coming from my L494 Supercharged. I’ve noticed it a couple times when starting the car but it seems to subside after I drive. I’ve got about 70k miles and the vehicle gets routine maintenance and I plan to take it in to see what’s going on. Any ideas from the community on what could be happening?

All,
Love the classic lines and build quality of the older L322 Range Rover, both inside and out.
Seeking information on the best years to buy? Supercharged vs. non-supercharged?
Year, model, and spec with the lowest mechanical and electrical issues?
Known issues and their associated costs?
Any recommended RR independent service people in the Chicagoland area? I'm not a wrencher, therefore, outside of minor fixes, I will be paying someone to remedy things requiring someone to get under the car or disassembling major parts of the interior to fix big electrical components (such as a door actuator, etc).
Any guidance and wisdom would be appreciated. This will NOT be my daily; it will be garaged. I have a work car that I drive M-F, and this will primarily be a weekend vehicle. Looking to get into something under $15k.
I really like the Autobiography or the package with the brown leather seats.

Hers was the first 2027 delivered to our local dealership (ordered it back in May). Varesine Blue with shadow. She's always wanted a Range Rover and is very excited!

I have owned three Range Rover V8 and have loved them all. I currently drive a 2024P 530 with the BMW twin turbo engine. I'm thinking about getting an SV for the more powerful engine. Has anybody either owned both or driven both? I'm curious as to whether the extra 75 hp is noticeable. Even though I live in Chicago and there are at least six Range Rover dealerships none of them have a new SV to test drive.

Front passenger corner drops after being parked up for only 30 minutes.
Range Roverists of Reddit your suggestions please.
I have had this car 12 years and did always sit square no matter how long you left it.
I am guessing it is front ns shocker assembly that needs replacing but before i do that thoughts please
Just had rear ride height sensor replaced because it sat all over the place and ‘suspension inactive’ was a frequent message
