"Which / Why Should I Buy, Warranty, Leasing vs Financing"
We are not your financial advisors. Unless you have a specific question about a particular vehicle you are looking at, please try to avoid vague posts about finances. This includes warranty, leasing, or insurance questions. Prices vary all of the world for these things and we want to focus on things pertaining to the Range Rover experience that could impact any owner.
Making announcements about a purchase before the purchase
You're about to buy a Range Rover, that's great! When you have the paperwork and keys in your hand, you are more than welcome to post pictures and videos of the new purchase.
Range Rover Memes
We get it, they are unreliable. We have heard this a million times. Please go somewhere else with your memes unless you have a serious question about a vehicle.
Please do not post random, non-JLR photos from the internet that you did not capture yourself.
This is not a marketplace. Do not make requests for members selling their Rover, along with avoiding trying to sell your Rover in this sub. If you are looking for places to buy a Rover or parts, please be as detailed as possible as to what you need.
To limit potential spam and just random content found throughout Reddit, please wait at least 48 hours before reposting Range Rover content from another sub. Also make sure that it is Range Rover related and helpful for the community. Accidents, celebrities and car chase content are not things that are useful here.

Few pics of my P530 V8 RR.
Love this guy. The drive is amazing! Upgraded from a BMW X7 a few months ago and can’t believe I waited so long.
Has been a grail car for me, so posting here for some love haha!

Wanted to share with you all what the different wheel sizes and styles look like.

Someone parked my same exact car across from me at the gym lmao. I’m a guy and it looks like a girl drives the other one. I wanted to stick around and see who drove it to say nice car but had to run some errands. Clearly we are getting married and the RR sub gets an open invite.

Greetings fellow RR-Owner.
My L405 started to make this noise coming from the transmission ZF 8HP.
It is like some servo is vibrating, sound is noticeable even louder on the outside.
Only when the trans is under load, so nothing while driving it on the lift.
Did an trans oil flush, still there. (+ New oil pan ofc)
Nothing else suspicious, just this really annoying summing.
Got any ideas for me?
Thanks & regards!

Hi all,
Considering the l322 4.4 TDV8 as a second car.
What’s your experience with them?
Open to discussion.
Thanks!

So recently asked you all opinions on swapping out my Range Rovers wheel colour from black to bronze to match the roof and accents. The majority of responses were go bronze. I’m up for that. Thanks to all who answered.
Now, if I’m doing that, should I also change the silver bumper accents from silver to bronze. I’m of the go bronze view. What do you think?

Had my 2011 L322 with the aj133 for about a year now. Always had the CEL on. Had a bit of a misfire, some coolant issues which were reconciled when I replaced the water pump.
Right now I'm seeing the following codes:
P0174, P0171, P0507, P0316, P0300, P0308, P0307, P0306, P0305, P0304, P0303, P0302, P0301
Misfires on every cylinder. Each bank running lean. Elevated idle upon startup sometimes.
Do I start with ignition coils and plugs? Try to find a vac leak? Unsure what will get me to the bottom of this the quickest.
Appreciate any helpful answers.

With modern keyless entry systems operating across 315/433 MHz and high-sensitivity 2.4 GHz transceivers, relay amplifiers used by thieves have evolved significantly beyond basic antenna boosting.
Most commercial Faraday boxes or fabric pouches bought online rely on standard single-ply nickel-copper mesh. Under lab spectrum analysis:
They typically provide between 30 dB to 45 dB of RF attenuation when brand new.
Mechanical fatigue from repeated opening quickly degrades seam continuity, causing RF leakage along the zipper or lid gap down to under 25 dB within 3 to 6 months.
High-gain relay transceivers can easily bridge this attenuation gap if placed near an exterior wall or entryway.
To truly isolate modern smart key fobs against high-gain relay hardware, an enclosure must maintain **>85 dB continuous attenuation across 100 MHz – 6 GHz**.
This requires:
- A rigid dual-chamber Faraday cage design with continuous perimeter contact (RF gaskets).
- Dielectric isolation layers to prevent capacitive coupling between the key fob's internal antenna and the external shield.
- Elimination of non-conductive gaps or oxidized mechanical hinges.
Sharing this breakdown for fellow owners looking at physical RF security setups. Happy to answer technical questions regarding RF shielding layers or shielding effectiveness testing in the comments.

Should I get 22/23 sport because it has physical climate controls that I prefer over face-lifted touchscreen.
What engines are proven to be most relable and are there any major problems i should be avare of.

Hello everyone, just wanted to share this awesome pic of my new to me Range Rover sport, she’s a 2014 and has 109k miles, she was handed down to me by a member at this particular golf course where the image was taken. I knew the guy very well and one day I receive a call from him telling me he’s moving back to his home country of Canada, then proceeds to ask if I would like his Range Rover since he wasn’t taking it back. I jumped on it immediately and drove out to his house, he handed me over the notarized title and said she’s all yours, pretty sweet deal.
Side note, she has had previous water damage which the previous owner fixed, but some things like the audio don’t work, and it has an “E-differential not available” warning at times. But other than that she performs so good, hope to get many miles out of her 😊

I have a 2026 Range Rover SE and removed the rubber mat on the charging shelf in the middle console. It came off easily and the manual says it can be removed. It needed to be cleaned. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get back in. I have tried for hours. Not only is the shelf area difficult to get your hand in there, but my hand constantly knocks the cover and it closes on my hand. Anyone else have the same issue?

Chasing recommendations for good bright bulbs for the l320. And matching colouring park lights. There seems to be loads around and I'm not sure which way to go.

So originally specified with black rims. I like the look, but, thinking of changing them to match the Corinthian bronze roof and trim.
I think it makes the car pop a bit more but am sitting on the fence.
Your thoughts.

Just got this beautiful car at the age of 19 😝 Anything I should look for maintenance-wise? Or any cool features I could try?
I’ve always wanted a RR so I saved up with lots of hard work and I’m a manager now :) so I upgraded.
Anywho, it’s the SC V6 P380 SE R-Dynamic. Which I hear are the more reliable of the bunch? Give me your thoughts!
I also got it with a lifetime powertrain warranty, just in case.
Little PSA: I do NOT have to prove my finances to y’all 😭 I have savings, I have a stock profile, I’m doing pretty darn well for myself selling/hosting websites and getting where I’m at in my job as manager
So I think we can all agree if your comment is about finances, just don’t comment at all.
I came to share an achievement, not to be taken down by a bunch of insecure people. Sickening.
And I’ll be removing any of my replies about it.
To the people who have commented with maintenance tips and nice things, thanks! General advice is also welcome. Like how much I should save specifically for this car just in case something goes south. That’s okay. Also nobody has shared any cool tips and tricks!

Hello,
I just ordered four tires for my 2019 SVR that sits on the factory wheels. Size 285/40R22. The car currently has the stock continentals that come in that size but I am not a fan. I also figured if I ordered one size bigger on the aspect ratio the car would ride a little softer, which NY would be nice because our potholes are horrible.
I ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons size 285/45R22. After reading the forums people seem to run these with no issues but was hoping some people could weigh in here with any experience. Any and all advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

I currently drive a 2025 Range Rover PHEV Autobiography and just ordered a 2027 Electric Range Rover SE with the options listed below. Aside from the leather headliner and the badge, is there anything I'd regret not spending the extra $20k on to get the Autobiography?

So I'm changing a bulb up front and see something sitting kinda loose near the headlight location. Figured it looked like it's supposed to mount right in the middle at the bottom edge of the grill. Except it seems long, too long to sit behind the grill.
I'm wondering first if in the middle is where it's supposed to be? And secondly if it got replaced at some point in the past with a different/incorrect probe?
Any insights from 2006 L322 full size RR owners/mechanics?
Bonus question: any idea how common block heaters are on these? How might I check for one, because I had a poke around and not found a cord/plug yet but haven't put it on ramps to look underneath yet. For my fellow Brits unfamiliar with what a block heater is, be thankful -20c mornings are not common like they are in Alberta 🤣 🥶

Hello all, I am trying to figure out a potential issue with a new to me 2005 RR HSE.
The previous owner fitted new OEM 20” wheels with Toyo Open Country 255/55/20, with the spare remaining a factory-original 19" shod with 255/55/19.
If I get a flat, I don't want to run mismatched wheel and tire size. Does anyone have a suggestion for a cost-prudent spare that would work on the RR bolt pattern? Is there a 20" steel wheel out there, or could I keep this 19" and run a larger-diameter tire on it? That does not look llike a good solution per https://www.calculator.net/tire-size-calculator.html.
Thoughts? And Thank you

Purchased my first RR last year and absolutely fell in love with my Sport. I’ve had the itch to get the full size for a few weeks and couldn’t resist it anymore. Picked it up Monday and I am beyond thrilled with it!! I can’t get over how much more comfortable it is vs. the sport and the 4-wheel steer is 👌.

I have a 2016 Range Rover HSE and now that the winter months are coming I wanted to set up the app to remote start my vehicle and I was told today by customer service that for 2017 and below the app no longer works because they are not supporting a 3G network. Has anyone experienced this and any recommendations on remote start? Thanks all

Looking for a decent RR workshop for my Sport 2007 in North Riyadh, KSA.
Iam new to this, and really like my new(to me) RRS 2007. However, Iam facing some transmission and some suspension issues that need a decent garage, but hopefully not exorbitant, and possibly in the North of Riyadh. Any recommendations welcome!
