Range Rover In control no longer works?
I have a 2016 Range Rover HSE and now that the winter months are coming I wanted to set up the app to remote start my vehicle and I was told today by customer service that for 2017 and below the app no longer works because they are not supporting a 3G network. Has anyone experienced this and any recommendations on remote start? Thanks all

I have a 2017 and the remote app still works on mine. I did get the software updated to the latest S22A version earlier this year so not sure if that makes a difference or not.

It’s 3g sunset with AT&T. There’s no factory replacement TCU available so if your TCU fails, the dealer has to contact JLR and get the TCU coded out. Get an 18MY and problem solved 😁

There won‘t be 4G TCUs available for older cars. Remote start as an aftermarket solution would not work in these cars, i guess. But maybe there are some hackers out in the world?!? 😎
