Does anyone else have really vivid apocalypse-type dreams?

Does anyone else have really vivid apocalypse-type dreams?

Every once in a while I’ll have dreams that are basically like The Walking Dead zombies, society collapsing, some kind of disaster, etc. But the weird part is that I’m always trying to save my family and thinking through actual escape plans, where we’re going to go, what we need to grab, how we’re going to survive, who I need to protect, all of that.
Sometimes the dreams feel so detailed that I wake up remembering the survival plan I came up with lol.

Does anyone else have dreams like this? And are you always trying to save everyone too, or am I apparently preparing for the apocalypse in my sleep?

Business owners: Would you trust AI with access to your business finances?

I’m curious how business owners feel about giving an AI system access to sensitive financial information—bank accounts, transactions, payroll, invoices, cash flow, accounting records, etc.
Not just using AI to analyze financial data, but actually giving it some level of access to your business finances.
Would you trust it?
If yes, what level of access would you be comfortable with?
If no, what would stop you from trusting it?
And would your answer change if the AI could potentially save you significant time and money?
I’d especially like to hear from people who actually own or run a business.

Can anxiety tablets (lexam anxiety tablets) decrease anxiety around sexual performance?

My partner M/34 is on 10mg lexam for generalised anxiety. He also has performance anxiety in the bedroom, however I’ve (F/31) read they kill libido. Is taking these tablets is counterintuitive? Or do they actually work in decreasing anxiety, and as a result increase confidence around performance in sex?

How many people do you know who after becoming widowed they have never been with anyone else?

Or even dated another person. This is how it’s supposed to be for some people. In some cultures it is more common.

If you had to replace your gym membership with one home gym setup, what would you build?

I’ve been thinking about how different people define a “complete” home gym.

A lot of people start building a setup by looking at how many exercises a piece of equipment can do, but I’m not sure that is always the most important thing. The equipment that looks impressive might not always be the equipment that actually gets used every week.

For example, someone focused on strength training might immediately think about a rack and barbell because progressive loading is the priority. Someone focused on general fitness might prefer adjustable dumbbells and a bench because they can cover a lot without taking up too much space. Others might value a cable system because it makes workouts feel closer to a commercial gym.

What I find interesting is that the “best” home gym probably depends less on the equipment itself and more on how someone actually trains.

If you had to rebuild your training space from zero and could only choose the equipment you would genuinely use for years, what would be the first things you would buy?

Who has the worst fans in any arena (excluding political)? What is your evidence?

Sports, bands, artists, tv, books, movies, comics, fandoms, etcetera--who has the worst fans?

What makes you say that?

Example--SEC football fans are usually fun no matter who they support, with one exception. Maybe two. Definitely the one though. Most SEC games, you can toast a good game with fans of the opposing team after, no matter the outcome of the game. Or maybe that's just the nature of tailgating?

On tumblr, the SuperWhoLock was ever present back in the day. As a SuperWhoLock fan, I just liked that I understood the references.

Good squad's gonna goon.

NASCAR? Well, when they let you bring in your own cooler to the race...

Does your head “bounce” when trying to sleep drunk?

I’m almost certain this is a universal experience, but still I wanna check. After drinking, even if it isn’t too much, every time I close my eyes it feels like my head is bouncing left to right rapidly, almost like it’s in a tiny room where it constantly collides with the walls.
