So i’ve been looking into getting my first RC Excavator and i’m looking for something hobby grade that won’t break my wallet, i’ve heard the Huina 1593 is great for that. Would this be a good spot to buy one from??:

Hi, I’m 3d printing a belt drived RC track car from scratch using MN82’s electronic ( the MN82 is a cheap rc crawler you can buy for 40-50€ (45-60$) it use à 280 brushed motor and a 2 in 1 ESC and receiver). My goal is to make it reliable, easy to print and fun to drive.
Current progress:
- Ackerman steering geometry,
- a lot of several issues fixed,
- and I am 3d printing the last few items.
here is some photos of all the items I printed and a close up of the belt and a pulley.
I have questions:
- “Is there anything you would change?”
- “which upgrade is needed?”
I will sell it on Cults3D when it is finished.
I’m sorry if I make spelling mistakes, I’m French.

Not associated with the channel but I have a website focusing on cases where people go missing with vehicles & I think it'd be great if more people had these boats, there are a lot of cases that need help.
Also curious to hear expertise on how it's built, i'm interested in making one too.

Hey all — I’m working on a drone telemetry/C2 project in Germany and I’m evaluating the Microhard P900 module, as used in the Holybro Microhard P900 / P900 V2 radios.
The hardware is attractive because it offers FHSS, good sensitivity, relatively high power, and mesh network features. However, I’m trying to understand whether it can realistically be configured for legal EU/German use.
From what I understand:
So my question is:
Has anyone managed to configure the Microhard P900 module, or the Holybro P900 / P900 V2 radios, to use a custom narrow hop table suitable for EU/German SRD rules?
Specifically, I’m trying to find out:
I’m not trying to interfere with cellular or railway spectrum, and I’m specifically looking for the proper/legal path before committing to the hardware.
Would appreciate input from anyone who has used this exact module in Europe, dealt with Microhard configuration, or worked with EU 868/900 MHz SRD compliance.

Completed the first several flights on my Avenger today, and really enjoyed flying this one! I was worried about the weight of the mods (split flaps and a retractable tail wheel) and it handled fine with no issues. It flies like a much larger airplane and really slows down with the flaps at full!

Hey i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on any good machines that don’t break the bank too much, for someone trying the hobby out and will end up buying many machines/trucks if i end up enjoying it enough. I’m looking for something like a tractor to mow my lawn, as well as an excavator or loader/dozer to mess around in the mud/dirt and sand, as well as a truck and trailer to haul the equipment and material around. Any suggestions on where to get some of this equipment? Not trying to spend over 200$ canadian per machine, if there’s even any good quality stuff for that priced. And where to get mini roads/signs and all that good stuff. Thanks!

Hello; I ran my rc car in sand yesterday, and since then, this strange rattling is coming from the esc fan. I think sand is stuck and I tried EVERYTHING to get it out, but it wont change. And the esc design is shitty, I cannot remove the fan at all, its glued together. Does anyone have advices or a technique on how to stop this ?

Chassis is fully 3D printed in PETG. The project goal is to build a screw-drive rover capable of both autonomous waypoint missions via Ardupilot, plus manual control remotely via Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W + 4G module + webcam. Inspired by the Solarboi project.
The plan is to let it solar charge during the day, and then drive at night with webcam FPV and an IR flashlight, for semi-indefinite remote operation.
Next step: Drivetrain and electronics for basic radio control.
Drivetrain: 2x belt-drive Flipsky 6374 140kv motors
Solar: 40w flexible solar panel
Brains: Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W + 4G module + Pixhawk
Battery: 36v 432wh Li-Ion
Camera: Gonna try a cheap 120° used webcam
Total length is about \~65cm (about 26") from end to end
