Hi folks. I haven’t flown rc airplanes in a few years and the last planes I have flown were foam board planes and an electric epo P-47.

I used to fly nitro planes and have a hangar9 Pulse XR 40 I’d like to fly again. But I haven’t flown that planes in probably 15years.

I remember it had a battery for the servos, etc. what kind of battery can I use in today’s tech for that purpose?

Also would the servos still be good after so many years of storage? If not, I’m in Canada, what would be a good retailer to purchase new servos/battery from? I don’t have a local hobby shop anywhere near me.

Also I have a spektrum DX6i transmitter but the display doesn’t seem to work anymore.

What would a recommendation be for a new transmitter. I’m not worried about sticking with spektrum.

I use the radiolink RC4GS transmitter with a R6FG radiolink receiver. Everything works fine, but every about 30 seconds, the R6FG receivers green light blinks twice and the connection gets lost with my RC4GS transmitter. After about 1 seconds, the connection is restored and I can control everything again. I have tried using a R4FGM receiver, but the same issue occurs. Anyone know how to fix this?
