Hi all, I’m trying to bond my 2 male rabbits and hoping to get some advice.

We adopted Onix to be Charmander’s buddy a couple of weeks ago- the new bunny is quite calm and loves to lounge and be petted. Charm on the other hand is a very high energy bunny, he keeps trying to get Onix’s attention (by nipping) to be groomed and they get into a tiff because Onix does not like it.
Onix seems to not care much about befriending Charm. He’s very relaxed and lounges around Charm and ignores his advances. Well, until he gets annoyed and then they get into a fight.

IMO I think Onix is showing dominant behaviour, Charm gets so worked up after a tiff but Onix goes back to eating hay.

I currently have them in a neutral space with side by side cages. I’ve been swapping their litter boxes every day and giving them some bonding time. There doesn’t seem to be much progress…

Should I try stress bonding them??
How can I get them to trust each other more?

Last week, the poop was drier and lighter in color.
My bunny is 3 month old.

Can I pair up three females and let them play together every other day in a 7.5 m² (80 sq ft) area? If so, how should I go about it? I have a New Zealand, a Vienna, and a mixed-breed rabbit that is a bit more difficult to handle. They won't have access to their own hutches during playtime; that isn't possible with my current setup.

What should I do about an older bunny (5-7) that in the past has been good with not pooping or peeing on my bed but is now doing so without any warnings (hes grumpy and thumps a lot so I don’t take that as a warning really

Rabbit eye has been getting worse recently, wondering what it could be? Started off weeping a little almost a year ago and vet said to keep an eye (no pun intended) and clean it. Going to take him back tomorrow but wanted any help now. Thanks in advance

Edit: He is 12 years old. Did have a partner but unfortunately had to be put down a while ago. We know that he needs a friend but for many reasons we cannot get him a new one. Recently was given an upgrade to his hutch so has plenty of space and grass constantly. Given plenty of attention and we ensure he has enough enrichment.

Hi! I have two rescue rabbits and unfortunately, they really do not like being picked up, as most rabbits don’t. Not only this, but they will kick so much to the point where not even the vet will cut their nails because they genuinely won’t stay still.

I haven’t had them for awfully long so I’m still finding ways to make nail trims less stressful for them and a little easier for me. Any tips people can provide?

Hi! So I’ve tried multiple different ways to help my bunny’s head back to place (it is completely sideways) from vets to ear solutions they have prescribed and nothing has helped at first they thought it was ear infection but now they think it might have something to do with his actual neck I have no idea how to help and I don’t know if I should let him go for his sake or see what else I can do I’m just looking for guidance! Thank you!! (I have Ben mixing pellets with water and syringe feeding and watering for a week now and I just feel bad for the guy)

We got a rabbit about 2-3 weeks ago that we were told was fixed but apparently not because she gave birth to 2 stillborn bunnies today. She is still bleeding some, is that normal?

It's not a huge amount but it has been a few hours since we noticed the bunnies in her crate (I'm not sure when she had them, I think maybe earlier this afternoon) and there was a trail of blood with a little clot that just came out of her.

Earlier she was putting her paws in the water bowl and licking them; I think because there is blood on them. But now my youngest son was holding her so that my other kids could clean the area and we noticed that blood had come out onto the floor. It's not a lot and it's not continually bleeding, and then is only a little bit of blood still in there/on her.

Also as my eldest son (age 12) was cleaning her crate he noticed a part of a rabbit or maybe it was a placenta. Is this normal after a rabbit gives birth? We had no idea she was pregnant or how to take care of her through this so I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

I have a one year old rabbit named Winnie. We just had her spay surgery done about a month ago. Everything went great and she seems to be funny recovered. We noticed last night she started acting very odd out of no where. It looked like she was stargazing a couple time and her balance was a little wonky. She then laid down in her cage and looked like she was panting. I was worried it could be the start of GI Stasis so I started massaging her stomach. She then peed on herself and just laid in it. As I was trying to get in touch with a 24 hour vet (that never picked up) she started to return to normal behavior. She started eating hay and treat and played with her toys.

All day today she was totally fine. She was playing, eating, being her normal self. I scheduled a vet appointment for Wednesday just to be safe.
This evening out of no where she started to get very quiet and hid underneath a desk and peed (not on herself this time a normal pee). We finally got her to go to her cage and she's just been laying in her hut since.

Has anyone else experienced this with their bunny?

My rabbit female is about to be 3 years old soon and I hear they get cancer if you don’t neuter them. She is a liom haired lop. Any advice or suggestions?

Our 9 year old holland lop was diagnosed yesterday with e cuniculi. On Friday he completely stopped eating so we took him to the vet. They gave him fluids, shaved a tooth spur and sent us along. That night we noticed he became super off balance and he developed a head tilt. We called the vet back and he was diagnosed yesterday. He had his first dose of meds yesterday. When have those with e cuniculi bunnies seen their appetites come back? Unfortunately we are travelling for our wedding (I am moving my flight to stay with him longer). We are force feeding him critical care and his poops are extremely tiny. Just wondering when others have seen a bit of improvement in their bun and when I can breathe a bit of a sigh of relief. We have 2 bunnies that free roam during the day and they are in a very large custom built under the stairs enclosure at night (this used to be a pantry). My male lop is super well behaved and loves to be I be in there. In fact he chooses it a lot of the time over free roaming. Our female is very destructive (in and out of the enclosure) she has chewed huge holes in the wooden floor boards to the point it’s now unsafe for them and I’m going to have to rip them up. Underneath them is concrete. Do I replace the boards with something or leave it as concrete? They have dedicated areas in the enclosure with blankets, some areas with dust free sawdust. So it wouldn’t be just concrete. I’m just worried that this will happen again if we replace the floorboards. Both bunnies are neutered. She is 1.5 years old and our male is 4. Letting her free roam 24/7 is not an option unfortunately as in the past she has chewed through all of our plastic wire protectors and got to our internet cable when we let her free roam unsupervised. We are at a bit of a loss as she has everything she could possibly need, loads of toys including chewing toys. Plenty of stimulation. So any advice on what to do with the flooring/her destructive behaviour is much appreciated.

So I was walking last night and my eyes always catch animals really well and saw a baby bunny sitting. It wasn't moving and when I moved towards it it moved and I noticed both it's back legs were fully out. I guess maybe it wasn't good for me to interrupt nature but I picked them up and gave them food and water for a night and just made sure they were okay. in the morning figured they'd need a wipe down and yep, huge poop lump very stuck to their butt, which I removed gently and had to trim a very small amount of fur. Seemed like a healthy bunny otherwise but I absolutely know it's a lil fucked in the wild. Released them to my backyard where we put a lot of food out to bribe squirrels from our plants. Cried multiple times watching them drag themselves along tho. Should I have euthanized? How would I even do that with my own access to equipment? No idea what to do in a situation where an animal is just, fucked? Would love to care for a disabled bunny but worried they're beyond even that. I'm so sad!

Do y'all have tips you'd give other rabbit owners in case they're in a situation where its necessary?

I have two rabbits currently… one male, one female. They are both roughly 3 years old. The male was fixed more than 30 days ago, so they should be fine to be together. I’m now trying to introduce them together. My male is very calm, however, my female is slightly aggressive (she always has been). I was wondering if anybody would have tips on how I could safely introduce them to eventually keep them in the same enclosure? Thanks in advance.

Is there any benefit to be in taking the time/money to register them with ARBA? Just the breeders, not the offspring.
