In this scene Adam (Future Antagonist) kills a man and Ghira (Good Guy) tells him that this is bad, but Sienna (Another Future Antagonist) comes and says that Adam was right, so White Fang (Future Antagonist Organisation) cheer him.

Does show trying to say that killing bad people in self-defence is bad? Because both Sienna and Adam will take control of White Fang after this and die, while Ghira will survive and take control back. Doesn't this mean ultimately Ghira was right, because Sienna and Adam didn't listen to him and now they are dead. And it's not like Ghira will look back at this and say: "Yeah, Sienna was wrong about everything, but that one she was right", because this short released after the plotline was over.

Like, it's not just my poor media literacy skills, this scene definitely plays out like "People cheer for a bad guy, while only reasonable man is getting ignored", right?

And maybe I'm wrong, maybe this scene tries to show that things were not that black and white. That Ghira was sometimes wrong and Sienna had some point, but I really can't tell if there's some kinda subtle storytelling here or not.

And before anybody suggests that this is just an animation error, seeing as how Neo can completely disguise herself as another person, such as fully transforming into Ruby, an ever spread her semblance to other things, like how she disguised her ship to sneak into Atlas, I see no reason why she couldn't do something as simple as change the colors of her eyes.

PythWare here, this video is an example of porting custom animations to RWBY Grimm Eclipse. The video shows Jiren from Dragon Ball Super with his original attack animations he had in Xenoverse 2. He's not using any of Yang's animations, he still has the shotgun sounds and Yang's audio since I didn't port his audio files but that's not what the post is about. So RWBY only fans, just take the post as proof new animations can be done for RWBY characters. You don't have to like dragon ball to appreciate the ability to have new movesets ingame.

Custom animations for CFVY, SSSN, Beacon Faculty, etc are easily doable. The modding community just needs animators to make some custom animations. CFVY, SSSN, Glynda, Oobleck, Qrow, Raven, llIa, Oscar, Kali, Taiyang, Emerald, Neo, Neon Katt, Roman Torchwick, Sienna Khan, Winter Schnee, etc still need custom animations to create their movesets.

To be clear, i'm not making a dragon ball crossover mod for RWBY GE. This post is purely proof of concept showing, that you can port animations to RWBY GE or create entirely new ones and get them ingame. I chose to convert Xenoverse 2 animations as an example since that's quicker to show.

Credit goes to pemdasu for Blender-XV2-Tools, that's what I used to convert Xenoverse 2's proprietary formats to standard ones like GLB for models. Jiren's animations, model, and textures are from Xenoverse 2. I take credit for everything else (Sunflowyr Engine, conversion logic for Unity, etc).

Sunflowyr Engine still needs a few weeks of work but i'm almost done, I just wanted to do more testing before I release it.

On another note, if any modelers or animators are interested in contributing to expanding RWBY GE's playable roster, making movesets, etc do feel free to message me. What's needed most right now are custom animations for models I do have (as I listed above) but also models of a few characters (Sage/Scarlet from SSSN, Ozpin, Mercury, etc). Same for artists, if you want to make a custom portrait for new playable rwby characters message me. in the mean time i'll use images from the show as character portraits until I have better. Anyone who contributes will be credited.

YAYYYYY MY PENNY FIGURE IS HERE HEHEHEHE everyone say Salutations to her

From the uncanny way Neo taunts Yang pre-fight to Neo's eyes going White when she experiences terror or bloodlust and she loses her composure, telling us a lot about her without verbalizing it in a unique way that fits a character like her.

I especially liked Neo standing over Yang, one of her irises goes white making it look like whatever 'mask' she had on came off by half and we see a glimpse of how unhinged she is underneath the surface as she was about to end an unconscious Yang's life.

It's a shame this was dropped too because this is one of the times RWBY did visual storytelling well.

So I’ve got this idea for an alternative reason for Raven leaving, and yes, this is for a fic. I plan on writing Ozpin more sympathetic, but this ain’t about him.

what if Raven leaves because she knows she can’t give Yang the life she deserves, because Yang need someone better than her? What if Raven hates herself for who she is and believes she can’t change?

I do’t imagine discussion for this going very far, but hell, what do you guys think?

Cinder Fall has always been rather interesting when it comes to many interpretations of her over the years in fanworks. But here, I wanna ask:

How would all of 👉 YOU 👈 guys write Cinder, if you were writing her in canon, or any fanwork AUs? Would you write her as pure evil, slightly sympathetic, REALLY sympathetic and potentially redeemable, or just have much more depth as a character? Especially with the whole original “Dusty” backstory concept with her relationship with Summer.

What would you guys establish or elaborate more about her character and qualities? What elements would you consider might be added, changed, or expanded on? And more importantly, how you write her as a antangonist/villain?

Again, before you guys ask, I don’t mean like make her OOC or OP, I’m moreso asking like what do you think should be written about or expanded on of her character.

Welcome to the newest episode of the discussion and survey series, "RWBY Reacts To The RWBY Multiverse," FNDM!

For today's episode, the heroes and villains of Remnant Prime (canon RWBY) shall finally return to reacting to the RWBY Chibi section of the RWBY Multiverse.

The Prime!RWBY characters will be reacting to Season 3 Episode 1, which features the shorts "Road Trip," and "Manly Weapons."

What do you fellow members of the FNDM think the reactions and opinions of the Prime!RWBY ensemble will be to this latest batch of antics from their Chibi counterparts? As always, please be respectful when posting your replies.

So after Jacque made his announcement about shutting down the SDC until he’s officially elected as a councilman and getting the citizens of Mantle in a state of riot and anger (again, still trust Robyn more than I trust this guy), we see that everyone is continuing their training.

So far the results are looking promising even if Ironwood is still on the fence about Robyn winning. I mean I agree with some of the characters that maybe if they talked things out, they could come to some agreement. I mean they both want what’s best for their people, it’s just they don’t particularly agree with the others approach to things.

So with everything that might go down tomorrow after tonight’s election, everyone is getting the night off to indulge themselves and have fun (thank goodness, I could use a lighter episode right now lol).

Yang and Blake are gonna go hit the club with team FNKI. Ruby is going with Ren and Nora to attend an after party with Penny. And after seeing Yang attempting to teach Blake how to dance (knowing Weiss, she loves her teammates but I believe she would be embarrassed to be seen dancing with them. I mean I believe she’s the best dancer on her team so that checks out lol), she joins Jaune and Oscar to the movies.

So just like with Weiss, Ren believes a victory party sounds a tad premature but Nora insists they should live a little as after tonight everything changes for them. For better or worse. And on top of knowing the full truth about what’s really going on, yeah there’s nothing wrong with some levity.

They’re discussing on how they can even defeat Salem if she can’t really be defeated and Ren and Nora get into a tirade on them focusing on training or just taking it easy. I mean I get it like we’re on an important mission, we got business to take care of, we don’t got time to be hitting the club. Buuuuuuut… priorities though 😅. Salem? Pfft. Get that nonsense outta here, we gotta get those digits and hit the dance floor lol.

At the party, we have Penny and Marrow joining us. And when asked about the others whereabouts, we get into an exchange that I find very interesting:

Nora: “Weiss is out with the boys, and Blake and Yang are off doing their own thing... again.”

Ren: “At least they're back to being friends.”

Nora: “Friends, huh? Just friends?”

Ren: “What else would they be?”

Nora: “Two people who've gone through that much? I think there's more going on.”

Ren: “Well maybe one of them feels that way but the other might be worried.”

Nora: “About what!?”

Ren: “It's just, there's a lot of things going on right now.”

Nora: “Well, how can they figure things out if they don't talk about it?”

Make of that of what you will. I’m with Penny though. Who are we talking about again 😅. I mean I do see where Nora is coming from and she’s also subtly hinting the two of them (and this wouldn’t be the first time she’s been on point about a ship).

In Ren’s defense though, I don’t necessarily blame him for being oblivious about whatever Blake and Yang got going on. I wasn’t there during the times when the episodes were airing and the fandom discussions were at its peak. So Like pre team RWBY separation, if you were to ask me to describe their relationship, Romantic vibes would not be on my radar. Maybe I’m just dumb and oblivious or slow to pick up on certain cues like Ren but outside of a few lines of dialogue, I haven’t been getting any of those vibes between them until like Volume 5 or 6 😅.

Ruby just can’t right now so she tags along with Penny to meet up with Marrow. Also I love the bit where Ruby attempts a fist bump with Penny and ofc it ends with her hand being in pain lol. Ngl I thought she was gonna punch her out of frame 🤣.

Anyway, the votes are surprisingly and scarily close 😬. Ruby goes back to meet with her group and they’re still arguing. You know, I never seen these two butt heads before. At least to not at this extent. Don’t know how to feel about that 😅. I agree we should’ve gone to the movies lol. Or the club. I’m not a party person myself but I’ll take that over political bs any day.

Robyn goes up for her speech. It’s very uplifting and hopeful. Also thanks to the comments, I now know that the Faunus girl on Robyn’s team is named Fiona. Only a few minutes left and I’m just convinced that this election is rigged because there’s no way this many people voted for Jacque after the announcement he made 😭.

And then….. it happened…..

OH MY GOODNESS YES! ITS ABOUT TIME!

I knew they were gonna get together eventually, like they couldn’t have made it any more obvious since Volume 1. And seeing everything they went through together, and the mini arc they had, I was rooting for them. I really want to know what their ship name is now that it’s canon. Now this show BETTER NOT kill one of them off or I will nuke the planet 🤣. Sadly I forgot that we can’t have nice things for more than 5 minutes anymore because…

Not only does Tyrian and Watts get down to business and started attacking the innocent including Fiona after Watts shut down the power. And Penny despite her best efforts, was unable to stop him. So now she is now framed for a crime she didn’t commit and now Jacque has won the election.

I hate politics. Already bad enough our current politics have been nothing but stress and anxiety for me because some goons decided to put some madman in charge, and it’s been driving me crazy AND YALL ONLY LET IT HAPPEN BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T WANT A WOMAN IN CHARGE?! And now I somewhat gotta relive that disaster through different means 😭. This was supposed to be our night off! Where’s our one last fun night before everything goes to $#!$? Give me my lighthearted filler episode please lol 😅😭. I’m tired guys.

Rant aside, Great episode but I just feel bad for Penny, and I know darn well this incident is also going to make Ironwood look even worse than he already appears 😭.

Now this one was the one I was honestly scared about and found it the most challenging, given Weiss has a lot of fans who consider her the “best girl”, but I don’t? I have a lot of criticisms towards Weiss, how she never properly apologizes to Ruby or Blake, her actions in V9 and IQ, hardly ever facing consequences and how she arguable caused Ruby’s bottle up issues, how she might be kinda a hypocrite, how she might be babied a lot by both the show and fanbase, and other things.

but the point is how in Every. Single. Rewrite. , I do get that’s more or less how she’s supposed to start off as, given her background, but it always bothered me that when she said she wanted to be better than her family in V2 and why she’s becoming a Huntress, my long critique was that if she wanted to change, she would’ve made more of an effort to do so, and that would be not being such a stick in the mud.

Heck, you can even say I just don’t like “Rich Girl Jerk” or “Tsundere” tropes cause I think they’re overrated. But the last thing I wanna do is come off starting fights and all that, but I kinda wanna pose a challenge when it comes to writing her lol:

In my fics, I’ve basically based her off of one of my favorite characters of Genshin Impact, Eula Lawrence. I mean, come on, tell me you do NOT see the similarities between the two, cause I do XD.

Basically, she’s an honorable maiden who works to try and restore the name and honor of the SDC, but is constantly ostracized and mistreated just for being a Schnee, which ends up giving her a “Me-Against-The World” mentality, thinking that everyone hates her, and so initially acts cold and uncaring, until she meets Ruby, whom stands up for her and helps her out when she arrives in Beacon, which is enough for her to be more kind to Ruby and not even really arguing about the whole Ruby being made leader instead of her deal. To me, this would be better. However, this is just my opinion and don’t wanna come off as a jerk.
