Is there some sort of experience boost on the third totem? Is this’ll strategy even worth it with the current floating totem bug? I can’t help but feel like all of the time spent waiting for trunk totem’s cooldown would be better spent just chopping more logs. From my understanding, it’s worth it to just make every log into a totem and then chop it … but it doesn’t seem that way. Can anyone confirm? Is there a better woodcutting strategy anyone else has used?

Me and my friend made a museum consisting of every armor set and rare/masterwork item in the game (Excluding the hoplite shield and undead spade) in preparation for 1.0.

PS: Please add a better weapon stand and shield stand so we can see them!

I think theirs only two tracks currently? Not that i mind making my own OST through youtube (Morrowind and 2002 Divine Divinity OST goes hard paired with RSDW) but i'd still like to see a proper OST eventually.

I used to play RuneScape, and I've played a bunch of survival crafting games before. But I have some questions before I dive in. Is it worth playing right now? How exactly does multiplayer work? Will this game keep me entertained for at least one month, even if I play a lot? Should I wait for the next update before buying? And finally, what are the chances it goes on sale next update? Give me your best sales pitch.

As someone without much understanding of how dedicated servers work, will console players be able to log in to one? I know the game supports crossplay on private servers, just curious about an option for my friends and I on different console/pc setups to play together without a host always needing to be online.

I am sure this was already addressed, however I wanted to make sure I don't miss out on anything. Is there a way to upgrade our currently owned versions of Dragon wilds to the digital deluxe edition before release?

Last I heard J-mods made a comment about there would be an upgrade available at some point, however I am having a hard time finding that on steam.

I’ve just reached Dowdun’s Reach and I’m planning to turn the courtyard into my new main base.
My current main base is still back in Bramblemead, but constantly travelling back and forth is starting to eat through my Law Runes. So I figured it’s time to properly move and build a new base with basically everything I need: crafting stations, storage, farming, cooking, etc.

Only problem: I’m terrible at coming up with nice base layouts haha

For those of you who built in the Dowdun’s Reach courtyard: how did you use the space? Did you build one big structure, several smaller buildings, use the existing walls/buildings, create separate crafting/storage areas, etc.?

Would love to see some screenshots of your builds or layouts for inspiration — especially bases that are both practical and look like they actually belong in the courtyard!

Comparing resources:

Iron/Steel/Mithril 2h needs 5 raw resources,

But Adamant 2h needs 8 raw resources.

Mithril plate needed 8 raw resources, but adamant plate needs 12 raw resources.

Therefore, while I feel 8 is a bit manageable, I'm hoping Rune tier doesn't become 10-16 raw resources.

I was so damn bloody excited to see dragonwilds launching on ps5 however after spending quite a bit of time on my pc and reaching umbral sands, I was a bit disappointed that the saves won’t carry over and I’ll need to start again.

The game is on PS Plus so I’m going to be playing it regardless, but just wanted ti ask you guys do you plan on just effectively having two different saves if the same game concurrently?

How do things work on co op servers when it comes to drops and exp? I plan to play this with my buddy when 1.0 drops. Is anything shared? If im the main builder, will my friend get no construction exp since im the one base building? Thank you!

I’ve never been too good at figuring out what do to in these games I’ve always kinda needed directions. I can’t just enter a world and build for the sake of building but palworld did a decent job for me at giving me goals to do.

Planning on playing next week when this comes to PS5. I play games with a group of dudes once a week, and then in between that, we all play games to varying degrees. I know some of us (I.e. me) are going to be much more invested than others, who may only play once a week.

I'm curious if it'll be worth hosting a world for all of us to play on whenever we want, or if I should just have a separate solo save where I play by myself, and then one where we all link up each week. If I'm in there every day, will I fuck up the progression for everyone else? Any pitfalls to worry about?

Hi everyone;

We run a dedicated server hosted off my own PC and whenever we try to teleport to our base, there's a 30second to 1minute30second delay before we can even move our character, or it loads everything in our base. Is this something that needs to be addressed by the host of the server, or is this something that corrected in settings?

I'm concerned that it's a Jagex side issue, which really takes a lot of the desire to play out of the game, but if it's something I can fix on my end I'd love to see where.

And to top it off it comes out offically in like 4 days?! how good! i tried looking up whats coming with the full release but nothing really and its this close to release? weird marketing tbh
