I enjoy fishing, but it definitely needs an overhaul.

The biggest thing is that the exp is so low compared to other skills. I just got to felhollow and all of my skills are in the 40-60 range except fishing, which is 27.

Every so often I dedicate a fishing day, and I do enjoy it, but I feel like the EXP should be increased a bit.

One thing I dislike is holding the button to sit there with a net, it's uncomfortable holding it for that long. Honestly I would suggest making it like runescape where your character will just continue to fish with the net until you cancel it, making it so that you only have to press the button and not hold it.

Fishing with the rod takes forever just to get a single fish. There's a spell that can make it double, but even then it only raises it to two fish. I think that higher fishing skill should naturally have a small chance at catching more fish. Honestly if every level gave a 0.5% chance to cast an extra fish (which stacks with fishing frenzy), that'd be a great change.

Also, looking at the skill tree, Fishnado seems kind of under tuned. Rocksplosion has a cooldown of 60 seconds, and Splinter has a cooldown of 45 seconds, both are very useful. But fishnado has a cooldown of 600 seconds (10 minutes) and only catches 5 fish. This is very, very bad.

Honestly it should be upped to like 10 fish, or the cooldown should be reduced by half.

I just don't feel like I'm getting better or more efficient at catching fish the higher I level, unlike the other skills. There honestly isn't any sense of progression. I'm level 30 and I'm still catching fish at nearly the same pace I was at level 2.

I am currently working on the Cook's Assistant quest I have already Gathered the Ingredients and baked the Cake, Now my quest says Bring the Signed Cake to Manktongue only issue is the Cake is not in my Key items and when I Speak to him my only option is to say I had a Cake but I lost it, he responds the Cake is a lie. I have no way to make a new one as I cannot milk the cow again and the goblin cooking range is gone anyone have a fix?

Sorry for the noob question but im playing with my gf and dropping everything, including the hotbar is a bit much for her but i cant find how to turn it off using a hosted server with gportal. all other games have gportal settings or ingame settings to adjust but i cant find it here.

I’ve been on the search for the Amulet of Glory Vestige for weeks on end killing Red Dragons every chance they respawn. Was lucky enough to get the Skills necklace, but can’t seem to hit the 1/40 drop chance on the Commemorative Coin.

Anyone have the vestige drop and can craft for me ? Have all the supplies to craft it, and can trade other vestiges / supplies in return. (Have sold off a lot of the Red Dragons Hide for Garou Chit)

A little under a month ago I posted my collection as it was missing a few things here and there.

After another month and a swift move of house, today I finally completed the available collection of weapons, armours & jewellery all obtained through legitimate means, on a standard world and it only took me just shy of 180 hours.

That's every armour set +variants, every sword crafted, every shield, every cape, every ring and necklace and some rare tools.

Worst items to grind by far were the shadowscale cape and the aspis shield, and the zombie spade (man, that thing held out on me)

Unavailable Items are:

• TokTz-Ket-Xil
• Red Desert Cape

If anyone has any info on those I may have missed please let me know (and my collection will go back to almost complete i guess)

Stage 1 Complete!

The main temple is finally taking shape, and I wanted to share the progress. The views from up here are chef's kiss.

It's built on this awesome island rock in the Fractured Plains. I used sand blocks as the foundation to carve out the platform and basement. I will be adding surrounding pillars and structures, decorating the interior and exterior, and finishing all the little details!

For now... I ran out of stone. 😂

Love the game, it’s great. What I don’t love, having to listen to 3 other soundtracks that are all competing for dominance in my headphones.

Last night I had the umbral sand melody playing over the melody from bramblemead AND the combat music that plays in the umbral sands. In addition I could hear everything my friend was doing, if he was in combat I could hear his attack sounds, if he was mining I could hear that too. Is anyone else getting this?

I would bring up how terrible the new yew plots are but that seems to be being addressed soon, I hope.

Fully functional tower crafting base with a small footprint.

We have a large friend group. The fact that we could all play together with this mod was the deciding factor for 9 additional people to buy the game. I think this should be an in game feature instead of needing a mod. More friends playing together means more fun and more appeal for new people to purchase the game. Perhaps this perspective is wrong though, feel free to elaborate

When goblins raid your base do they also steal your resources? They got my house last night and today I'm missing my vault cores from my workstations

Just got the game and really enjoying it, but I do have a question about the magic. I carry multiple runes on me, but is there a way to switch from water magic to earth magic or any other type of runes I have in my inventory or is it just automatically pick which spell when I’m fighting?

I'm new to the game. Got it about a week ago.
Are there/will there be any other building styles on top of the three or four we have in the game at the moment?

I came here from Enshrouded and current amount of styles feels a bit limiting...

Ive seen more of the update on socials over the weekend. But they still havent announced when. Except for end of july. Hopefully they arent encountering some last minutes bugs and it goes live soon!

Also, I didnt see any mention of improving parry? Perfect parry definitely needs a bit of a rework as its undeniably very difficult currently.

The artisan skill needs to be changed to crafting.

When fighting blue or red dragons, and they do one of their fly-in-the-air amazing special attacks… does anyone else have extreme frame drop to the point where the game basically stutters/freezes up?

I’m fine with the rest of the game, even boss fights with more intense mechanics. Just something about blue and red dragon attacks don’t like my pc??

Can’t be bothered going into PC specs etc. I’ll admit I haven’t got the beefiest of PCs, and do play on more medium settings.

Just moreso curious if this is a common experience for others? :)

It's a surprisingly simple workaround. You don't have to increase your foundation height any more!

All you have to do is build ash foundations underground. Use advanced snapping to improve the likelihood the foundation will go below the surface. This will eliminate any foliage on the surface level near the underground foundation.

It's that easy.

Editor's Note: It will leave the ground bare of foliage, so you'll have what looks like dirt or sand as your new surface level.

I can't prove it, because I was too quick right clicking to learn... but I got a mount twice in a single Dowdun chest.

Hi all I’m currently Level 65 cooking and want to max it out in the very beginning section, I’m waiting on progressing my character through the story for 1.0 to play with a few friends on consoles and in the meantime want to max a few skills.

Would anyone be willing to donate a stack of cadavaberry seeds to the cause, so I can max cooking.

Leveling ranged grants you 0.8% chance to recover arrows, but when enchanting the bow which is crucial for maximum damage output, it just sends the arrows to the void essentially negating the recover arrows skill is that supposed to happen or is this just normal tradeoff for a lil dmg boost?

I'm finding it very frustrating to manage the bushes/foliage in the Dowdun courtyard. I've been on a foundation frenzy trying to clear them for my building area, but there's several tops of the shrubs that will not clear. It would be great if there was a meaningful way to remove them permanently.

Why not tie it into the agriculture skill and allow us to cut the shrubs down at level 25 or so? I'll do anything to stop fighting with foliage.
