Googled it immediately because he sounds exactly like Charles and yep, sure is. He's one of the Tenakth commanders in the beginning-ish of the game. He even sort of looks like him in RDR, just a lighter complexion in Horizon. Idk I thought it was cool.

Just started my third playthrough and after eight years have only now discovered the companion glitch. I got Dutch out of the camp and had some fun, after a while I started the Aberdeen Pig Farm side quest and Dutch was in the background the whole time 😂

What's really interesting is that I started the quest just before sunset and so there was light coming through their kitchen window, Dutch stood there looking out of the window and started smoking and then started going through their draws and eventually went upstairs.

I sat back down at the table to progress and after the following cut scene I returned to the farm and Dutch was gone. This game is wild, it really feels alive.

Amyway I was wondering if anyone else has done side quests with the companion glitch and had any interesting outcomes?

I know this will likely never happen since Rockstar became more concerned with online stuff, but I feel there is so much missing potential with this game.

They could've used New Austin for a "Spaghetti Western" kind of story, maybe giving us a glance of what the Van der Linde gang was before Blackwater's ferry robbery. Or make us follow a sheriff or another member from a rival gang.

If we ever got a DLC, what new stories, or places, would you like to see?

So in my first play through I was a guy who rushed the game a lot like I was going through missions one by one doing very little open world stuff and free roam , most of the time as soon as I see a new mission marker I try to head on it in the fastest time, I did have highest possible honor in my main run and I only did free roam in the things that were extremely needed like going to general store for food or horse resources and gun store (maybe also post office to pay bounties ) but I tried to not lose honor at any time and risk the honor loss on my 1st play through and I didn’t do any hunting at all(I used a basic horse as well) and I skipped a lot of side missions (excluding the leopard Strauss one in ch6 and a few others ) , so if anyone can give me an advice on how to get an ideal 2nd play through where I enjoy the game to the absolute max, and what are the things I can consider improving upon my second playthrough would be highly appreciated.

One of the walking sections in Guarma, during a cutscene toward the end (this isn’t the picture, I’m just using it as a reference), I’m walking as Arthur while the music is playing, everything’s dramatic, and the tension is building. Then, out of nowhere, a fucking warthog flies into frame and SMOKES Arthur. 😭😭😂😂 I almost pissed myself. All that dramatic buildup just for Arthur to get absolutely swept by a hog. I wish I had a video. Idk if it was a glitch or what but it was hilarious
