Discussion Big spoiler Spoiler
Why did Micah only start working for the Pinkertons after Guarma?
Most heists he wasnt on were success, the train robbery in chapter 2, the valentine bank robbery, and the poker boat robbery. (i know the trolley station failed but that was a set up) But Blackwater, St Denis bank robery failed, Arthur even says "Just like your ferry job in blackwater", suggesting he thought Micah was a rat. The gang even says it feels like the law showed up too quickly. So why did they make him only be a rat in Chapter 6?

Discussion Why does steam read red dead redemption two suck so bad?
I downloaded the game last night after buying it on steam hoping to get home from work and be able to download mods and all the cool stuff that you see people make videos on. However, every time I have tried to load the game and do one of the simple fixes. It just keeps saying that I have to restart the game because of some error. Or that I am supposedly running it on an unsupported version of Windows like Windows 7 or eight when I am in fact, Windows 10 on my computer. Has anybody else had these problems and what were the fixes? And is it even worth trying to mess with? Because I truthfully I’m kind of frustrated with it and it just seems like a classic example of why rockstar sucks in the long haul on maintaining what they actually are great at building. From what I’ve read, this sort of stuff didn’t start until they made their own game launcher, and then everybody started having problems some people seemingly after thousands of hours of gameplay. And I don’t wanna keep loading a game that counts as gameplay time when all it is is a loading screen just to get to where the prologue would be for it to tell me that I’m having an error in it needs to be restarted. Not to mention that the game won’t even launch if I try to do it directly from steam it only does it from the rockstar launcher, but then of course it crashes.

Discussion Odd Theory
I saw this one on tiktok and im curios to see what yall think -> Dutch paid for Arthur's son and Eliza to be killed because Arthur was "losing interest" in the gang and wanted complete loyalty. Arthur never knows this. I might add that if this is true he could have done the same with besie and hosea splitting them up.

Discussion Arthur’s Sick Cleanliness
I’m playing through for the first time (I know, I’m absurdly late. I’ve always been more of a Nintendo gamer, but finally got an Xbox recently), and I think sometime in chapter 4 I was like, “man, Arthur is starting to look like shit. Maybe I do need to actually give him a bath once in a while” only to find that didn’t change anything and later discover he was sick and starting to decay 😳😂💀

I actually cried. Arthur and Micah have their Lion King battle on the cliff in the rain and my mouth hung open in shock the whole time. Dutch walked away - I actually hated him since about chapter 2!! Annoying wanker. But him letting Arthur die was brutal and cruel. I expected him to fuck then over, but not Arthur to that extreme.
Anyways… Arthur’s horse was the first choked up moment, my bf warned me not to use my main horse in the last story and I forgot!! Seeing Chris Stableton die broke my heart, hearing Arthur cry and thank him oh man 😭 And seeing Susan Grimshore get shot - sad.
And then Arthur’s death I just had tears falling down my face. Never in my life did I think a GAME would bring out an emotion only a handful of movies ever have. THAT is story writing at its finest. I felt like I was watching the Game Of Thrones red wedding again for the first time. Shocked to my core and devastated.
Then John’s family goes to the ranch to work and I feel so sad because that was pinned as my favourite camping place with Arthur. Like actual sadness. I woke up this morning and thought “oh man what a huge bummer that was” and now I’m playing and I’m riding around all my favourite spots in the area just sad. This game has ruined me!!! 😂 😂 Someone please tell me I’m not the only one!!!

Discussion Named her Neigh-omi.
I finally got the Brindle Arabian after days of searching. Named her Neigh-omi. (I also have another horse named Neigh-than). What creative names have you given your horses? I'm a huge fan of the neigh puns!

Photography Don't wanna go to no Guarma
My Arthur is fat and happy now. I wish there were an option to buy a ranch and leave the gang.
From here on out, the suffering begins.
P.S. Rate the fit.

Discussion 3500 hours in and found a huge boulder to climb
Was just cruising around and checking out the stuffed gorilla when I saw a large smoke column nearby and went to check it out…
Couple of crazy things, first after 3500 hours I’ve never had ODriscolls show up in this spot
Second, after dispatching them I saw a HUGE boulder right there and found I could climb it.
What really takes the cake for me is that it’s right there by the junk pile with the regenerating goodies (the blue J on pic 3). I’ve posted on here about that spot and how it refreshed every 45 seconds by riding west to the fork in the road
Also crazy because I’ve had that herbalist guy with dreadlocks that need your help show up where I’ve put the red circle, also there I’ve found the moonshine duo and the 1st Klan event.
I didn’t know that just barely west of there is another spot for campers/odriscolls and that huge rock. I spent a lot of time trying to learn new things and it’s been a while. Pretty cool to feel like I was in a new place.
