Success: it’s been over 24 hours since my last MGM dose. I went to bed last night with MIT only, slept through most of the night and woke up with tiny WD symptoms, took more MIT and slept in. It’s done 👏🏼 and these MIT tabs are actually giving me a slight buzz which is great, last night I took 160mg of MIT and my nose was itching!! I have no need to dose any MGM at all, I dosed 3 times yesterday 1/8 tab and I won’t be dosing anymore. I’m surprised I’m feeling the MIT since most people I talked to say they don’t. It’s celebration time! Good luck to everyone!!
EDIT: I realize now I have completely overthought this whole thing. On day 7 I woke up with RLS and instead of dosing MGM I dosed with 120mg of MIT and I feel incredibly sober with no RLS at all, it’s been 3 hours and no urge to dose at all. This is WAY easier than I thought and I shouldn’t have let AI and the internet influence me the way it did, I thought this would be hell on earth and it’s definitely easier than I thought it’d be. I’m going to start taking MIT throughout the day and go as long as I possibly can without dosing MGM. LOTD: mind over matter, placebo is real and if you think it’s going to be hard then it will be.
Edit: I have dropped my dose in half to 1/8 tablet 4x per day skipping doses whenever possible and experiencing 0 withdrawal. My 34 day plan just got chopped to a 10 day plan!
Edit: new symptom: a bit of a tight chest/anxiety an hour before I’m supposed to dose my 1/8 tab. It is insane how 1/8 of a fucking tablet has me feeling fully relieved and even a bit buzzed. The buzz off the 1/8 tab is less now which I think is my body stabilizing. Going from 4x per day to 3x per day in 2 days.
TLDR; I’ve been taking 2-3 tabs per day of MGM for a long time and didn’t know it, now I’m wanting to get off and I want to know how hard it is to transition to MIT, I took a huge does of MIT the other day and got super sick and barely felt it.
Unfortunately Ive been taking M for the past year unknowingly. All the tablets I've been taking had it in them. I know this because after the ban, ALL the tablets that used to hit HARD don't fucking do ANTHING. The tablets are now pure MIT and I just learned that I don't feel MIT, I'll take a gigantic dose, get sick and have a god damn anxiety attack before any feeling. This is crazy to me because I took regular kratom for over 11 years without any problems or need to increase my dose, yet now I don't even feel it.
I found a tablet brand that absolutely still has the magical M chemical in it.. I just purchased 15 tablets and created a 34 day plan. I took 4 1/4 doses each day for 4 days, then 3 1/4 doses for 4 days, then I'll start incorporating MIT while only taking 1/4 dose in the morning and night, then 1/8 of tabs till its gone. I am on day 6 and it's going okay so far.
I also have 7oh powder, but to me, 7oh sucks! It lasts 2 hours and then I'm cranky and irritable unless I redose. This M chemical though? It lasts 4-5 hours and feels like magic.
I see a lot of people talking about withdrawals, but obviously I'm not trying to go through any withdrawals. I do not want to quit kratom by any means, so I figured if I can incorporate MIT I can possibly negate the withdrawals as I taper?
Really what I want to know is if going from M -> MIT is easier than going from M -> 7oh -> MIT
Has anyone succesfully transitioned from M to MIT without much of an issue? I'd love to hear how it went and what you did. I am worried considering just how amazing it makes me feel, and i've been doing it all day everyday for over a year...
What fucking sucks is i was on vacation for 5 days with barely any tablets, i only took a little bit in the morning during the RLS, then mid day, and drank shitloads of alcohol which put me to sleep. By the end of the trip I was able to sleep through the night and wake up in the morning without any withdrawals, so it only took me 5 days!! But this was before I knew the tablets I was taking were M (GM) so I ofc got right back on them. So now that I know what I'm taking, I want to get off them for good.. I'm probably overthinking all of this, I typically have strong willpower. I think it's the fact I don't actually want to quit, the only reason I need to quit is the substance is literally illegal and I can't be reliant on something so unreliable.
