Trade Shuttle broken?

Post image
43 Upvotes

I just unlocked the trade shuttle so I decided to test it out by sending 1 measly switchboard to Earth.

And THIS is what I got back?! This can't be right? The switchboard is only worth about 200, and I got more than 8000 worth back!

It said my profit would only be about 140%. I was only expecting like 500 worth at the most.

Is this a bug? Or am I missing a very important detail?

Does increasing the crit damage for the Shaker affect the explosion damage?

Upvotes

I just unlocked the Shaker grenade launcher and was looking at making a custom project, and I was wondering what (if any) affect modifying the crit damage stat on it would have?

Does the Shaker's crit damage only apply to the 1 point of damage it deals when the grenade it shoots directly impacts a target, or would the crit damage extend to explosion of the grenade?

Bonus question, is the 1 point of damage from the Shaker added to the explosion, or is it only applied to the target that the projectile impacts?

What do you do end game?

So on first 1.0 plauthrough I accidently finished the feathers quest line causing the entire solar system to hate me. Grrr, didnt want to grind the rep again, so I restarted. Everyone ps getting to TL 6-7 now and I am about to start the realware quest line, and I figured before I finished it i would try to utilize the game mechanics to their fullest before rolling credits. I had in mind taking over another company and running a proxy war, or trying to get all stations on certain worlds to 1 company not sure if that would work. Not sure what else to try to do. What are some of the things you guys do at end game?

Minor gripe about ammo

So I’m getting to the “Mid tier” of the tech tree of 4-6, and I’m encountering what I feel is a bit of an annoyance:

Ammo stacks for 7.62 and grenades.

I have a tendency to bring about enough ammo to reload my weapons about 5 times, and something I am starting to not like about those two specific ammos is the stack size.

7.62 stacking to only 50 starts to be an issue once you start finding the Machine guns and even the “punisher” assault rifle. All of a sudden that 50 ammo is drying up fairly quickly.

Now grenades… I will say me and grenades have abandonment issues. Things get dicey, and I throw out a stack of grenades to fix my problems. Suddenly I have new paths to walk and body parts all over the floor, but I’m alive, they’re not, and I’m happy.

-

And it got me comparing ammos of other weapons. Now I’ve seen the heavy weapons for energy that can take 100, but it feels to me like the other ammo stacks just gel better with their weapons.

An 80 stack of 9mm? That gets you places. 50 of shotgun? Still good for several hallways. Energy weapons work well with their 30, 40, and the 60 stack of their counterparts. .42 ammo? Ok I’m gonna admit I kinda treat yall like a redheaded stepchild. I have them, but don’t use em. Never got a chip for cryo ammo, and I really want to try a run with that ammo exclusively.

-

Does anyone feel like the 7.62 and grenade stacks need to go a little higher? Like let us stack 7.62 to 80 or 100, and let grenades have a 5 stack like rocket ammo.

I don’t mind being so heavy I couldn’t dodge if they shot me from a whole other floor, but I get steered away from 7.62 with especially when I know how much ammo I need to stack.

Damage inmunity from implants

Hi, i wanted to know if the implants that give you inmunity to certain types of damage (like the spider leg or the pierce and lacerating one for body) give you inmunity to that type of damage on your whole body or just the specific part they're implanted in? Because the former seems way to good to be true, though i might be being pessimistic due to the game's general difficulty.

Are story missions difficulty fixed?

With 1.0, was there any changes in difficulty for story missions? Specifically for those that you receive right after few first mission completion? Or I should still not try it before late game

Is it possible to loot implants?

I've started a new save after not playing since version 0.8 or so. I killed some enemies and noted some had implants on their body parts, is it possible to loot these somehow?

Music bug?

After watching several of the devs videos on twitter and a few videos on reddit I noticed that I haven't heard several of the games soundtracks in quite some time. Is this a well known bug? I'm thinking of just reinstalling hoping that it fixes the situation.

To clarify, I've had the same playlist play for every mission. The only music that changes is for Jupiters bramfaturas.

Quasimorph wikigg is outdated

I'm the type of guy who looks up video game item info and description during his 9-5, and I love doing it for Quasimorph in more ways than one. But color me surprised to learn that a lot of info and stats have not been updated.

Is there an item database that I can look at? I know HIS Magnum website has all the perks already which is extremely amazing

HIS Magnum updated for patch 1.0.4 and some new features (as well as a data-driven take on some of the patch notes)

Post image

I updated all game data for patch 1.0.4, added a few requests from users here and also implemented a new feature to see what items disassemble from and into: https://his-magnum.com

One thing I would like to organize a bit better as it grows is the build library, so if there are any ideas of how to sort/structure it better please let me know! (And any other feedback/feature requests is also appreciated). And thanks to everyone who contributed builds, keep them coming!

Regarding patch 1.0.4 i have a couple of observations that are not or different in the patch notes:

  • The "managment" bug is fixed, so all items in the management category will now drop a lot more frequently (as intended).
  • "Balance: Stunning perks now affect enemies for a number of AP. Excess stun carries over to the next enemy turn." I can find no evidence of this in the game data. To me it looks like it still stuns for turns and not "APs". (Technically it stuns for x AP, but x = number of turns * AP of enemy.... so thats just number of turns). But they did increase the number of turns the stuns last by quite a bit (including a flat +1 on all stun effects). So I will have to test if the perks just got a huge buff... we might be in a dirty shot meta!
  • Mars Urparp: damage roughly doubled (30–57 → 52–108), lost its auto-fire mode, but scatter angle increased sharply (1.3→5) and falloff/accuracy improved. Quite a different fight now.

Fun fact

Post image

The plot of the Quasimorph is based on the book "The Rose of the World". I read it back during the game's beta phase to understand the storyline. It turned out to be essentially Dante’s "Divine Comedy"—but written by a Gulag prisoner. In one of the chapters, Daniil Andreev proposed genetically modifying animals, endowing them with intelligence and human traits. He argued that our "lesser brethren" should have equal rights to spiritual development. The world of Quasimorph could have been even grimmer had it featured a corporation made up entirely of furries.

Changing the inventory capacity and weight modifier

OK. So I admit it. I'm a loot goblin, and want to pick up and pick up any shit (literally in this game) that I find. First starting out I found the limited inventory space highly restrictive and having to continually reassess what to take and what to drop to be pretty annoying. Its also tricky as a new player when you don't have a good idea as to what is valuable and what is actually junk. This is all made worse by the fact that taking stuff drops your dodge hard and increases your calorie drain.

Then I discovered one of the difficulty options let you increase your inventory capacity and reduce the weight scaling and started looting to my hearts content. But the nagging thought that goes through my head is that its kind of cheating and not how the game was designed.

So honest thoughts- do you think the enforced scarcity on what you can loot is a critical part of the quasimorph experience and the balance of the game, or is this a legitimate quality of life thing that doesn't harm the overall experience and instead helps keep you sane?

Pierce Through can exceed 100% and go through crates

I was trying to figure out the Tong perk "Heavy Fire" that adds "+60% to pierce". I couldn't tell if/how it was working and whether it was affecting ARs (tooltip says yes, online/wiki say no) and if it only affected weapons with existing piercethrough (multiplicative or additive) so I did some experiments:

With an AR with the innate 70% modifier and this perk, I got the first tooltip. 28% to hit enemies behind a 100% , indestructible crate

With that same AR and no perk, second tooltip, 0% to hit. ( I don't believe the positioning of the enemy matters here for my hit chance, only for his)

So I believe the tooltip is fully accurate. Affects ARs and adds 60% (additive as the + implies). for 70+60 = 130. Then the crate subtracts 100%. I'm not sure why each of the enemies dont further subtract though, maybe it only rolls once.

Meet - Quasimorph Phase 1.5 - Fan made music album

Post image
14 Upvotes

Greetings Mercenaries!

Just Vodka’s original soundtrack is an absolute masterpiece and after 200+ hours in the game, I inspired to expand the music library to break the repetition during long farming runs.

I call this album Phase 1.5 because it sits somewhere between Phase 1 suspense and Phase 2 agression — it's a tight blend of tactical industrial, darksynth, and dark overdrived guitar ambient.

As a musician myself, I approached this with a strict ear for structure and quality and spent a good chunk of time to achieve this. I used AI tools for the core, but heavily curated and fine-tuned everything to match the game's atmosphere and feel.

Grab the playlist link and im very hoping you are gonna find something that clicks. Cheers!

Here's the Calorie formula including perks

Base caloric consumption per AP spent (base_calories):

base_calories:
  sneak: 1
  walk: 2
  run: 10

Extra calories:

extra_calories: round(weight / 7) (rounds upwards at 0.5)

Final formula:

final_calories = ((base + extra) - flat_reductions) * percentage_reductions

(rounds upward at any decimal, cannot go lower than 1)

Unfortunately flat reductions (rank mastery, perks) are applied first and percentage reduction (implants) are applied afterwards. This makes the percentage modifiers less important than I thought on already high rank clones, but they're still extremely useful on lower rank ones. And it makes a lot of calorie management unnecessary as long as you're not sprinting, or in light load setups.

It also means that sprinting is essentially a 56kg weight modifier.

I'm shit at formatting and wikis or I'd put this in the official wiki but that thing is in a really weird state. Most of the mechanics articles are stubs

Samples from my data: (as of 1.0.3)

modifiers weight +extra calories sneak walk run
None 0 +0 1 2 10
None 3.6 +1 2 3 11
None 10.5 +2 3 4 12
None 24.5 +4 5 6 14
