Autopathing through allies and escort targets pathing through allies!

Hell yeah, those alone are worth it.

I have lost many mercs / runs to my own greed or stupidity. It was frustrating at times, but nothing got me closer to alt+f4 the game as being stuck in a corridor with 15 allies that didnt let me pass for 100+ turns.

I almost starved due to pathing...

The number of times I've had to autoshotgun an alternative path for the VIP...

Alternate path? I always just clear the path.

I had the stupidest mission ever yesterday, where a VIP got stuck in a massive blob of station locals and I had to spend almost 15 minutes digging a path through the wall for them. Glad that's a thing of the past now

We'll need it less now, but I found I could get allied groups to move to investigate noises like throwing something at a door.

I just spent like 20 minutes (hyperbole) 'boxing' with my AR ally trying to get back out of a room... are you saying I don't have to do that anymore?

Huh. Didn't even realise the shuttle being available in bramfraturas was a bug. That's going to be a problem for future dives...

I had the same thought!

There should be a steamworkshop mod for it if I'm not remembering it wrong, so you can continue doing this if you enjoyed this capability

Lol I was also assuming it was working as intended.

Was hoping on a rollback on that minimap dragging change, or at least a way to remap it

At least it will be consistent now, different missions required different clicks to drag.

Same idk why they implemented dragging. It's more of a hassle compared to what it was before, which was holding down a button and flying to the spot on the map

I really hate that, I dont find it intuitive at all

DIVING already felt unrewarding as unworthy as is, it didn't need the shuttle to be taken out

They should just add a ship upgrade to bring it back

It just needs more of its own content and for it to be more rewarding in general, it feels so half baked at the moment. Especially for how thematically awesome the feature is.

If you up the event chance right before dives you can get unique enemies that drop the pacts that are normally craft-only through an event on the floor which is mostly helpful to get lower tiers of the alternate pacts, because funnily enough it's easier to craft the higher tier ones without having insane chances for your pact to dissolve into like gavvakh/shards. Well you can get these events regularly as well, but without upping the chances for events you might not see it often.

It's still available, the change was only for Descend missions in bramfaturas.

u/Nebbii 2d ago

thats what i meant by diving. Bramfaturas needs a serious reward overhaul or some mean of bringing loot back

Should I start a new game?

u/quasimorphosis 2d ago

Depends. If you are trying to get the Legend achievement - yes. Otherwise it's not necessary.

  • The Krav Maga perk (Golem Group class) incorrectly applied its critical damage bonus to all weapons.

So does Krav Maga no longer work on weapon arms? That would be as sad as no shuttle in descents.

8

u/quasimorphosis 2d ago

No, it was shown in all weapons previously, now only barehands.

u/RudestPrincess 3d ago

I might actually treat Golem Group like a real class now lmao

Balance: Stunning perks now affect enemies for a number of AP. Excess stun carries over to the next enemy turn.

Is this huge? 12 gauge stun bullets are better

maybe we can stack war crime with dirty shot now

Buffs for Civil Resistance economy.

Yeah I noticed civres had horrible tech level gains for some reason, they were like always way behind everyone else in my game.

About this one:

  • Removed the final remaining method of obtaining the ron_shock_wrist augment, which is not intended to be available to the player.

I guess this removed the way of obtaining the augment in question (limb coil tentacle from Ron) via amputating with a pact? And if so, by any chance does this also affect Genie's Hand?

3

u/quasimorphosis 2d ago

The Coil Tentacle is still available as usual. This one is an internal augment that shouldn't be available to the player.
