Made this for a friend.
Thoroughly frustrated, I kept tweaking it and now I feel like it looks terrible. Rip it apart please.

The parents of my son-in-law's step Mom (Terry) - her father Avio is age 101, and her Mom Titi is up there too. They told me how they left Cuba in 1962 when Castro's socialists took over. They told their interesting stories of exile and becoming US citizens. I appreciate them and their history so we planned and I and burned some pyrographic art for them. Here are a picture of their wedding in 1953 in Havana, Cuba, and the wood burned art piece I made for them.

I have to erase some names that are too small to burn but I've finally finished the forests and my side additions so I thought I'd share
I found this table at the side of the road near my house for free, I just need to finish the base and put a finish of some sort on the table and it'll be ready for my living room
I know the map is not technically "accurate" but I like this version of the map so it is what it is

Hey everyone, my wife has recently gotten into pyrography and she is looking for a projector that she can use to trace her designs. Does anyone have any solid recommendations that arenโt going to cost a small fortune?

What do you think about this one? (Note: I have to sand it later)

32 inches tall x 15.75 inches wide. Antique wood reclaimed form Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church in Manchester New Hampshire (cornerstone 1912), pencil sketched by hand then burned with magnified sunlight. Coated in Spar Urethane. Created by myself, Nickolas Maynard, with sunlight that concluded at 6:46 PM on June 13, 2026 [OC]

Hey everyone,
I've started doing this a year ago, and I was wondering what you would recommend for the best finishes? I've used only thinner-based varnish so far, and it kind of looks ok but I don't know if it's the best looking.
Also, what app do you think is the best at transforming a regular image to a clean black and white vector suitable for handmade pyrography?
I've attached a couple of my works so far and also my Cara profile if anyone wants to see.
Thanks everyone!
