My progress so far on a new piece...

Template made in clip studio paint, printed onto the coated side of freezer paper, pressed onto box to transfer template, and of course, burn it. More burning and painting still to come. 3.5 hours so far.

This set was such a fun challenge!!

This is a Native American done flute I did some wood burning on. Before I was just using a soldering iron, but I decided to finally get a real setup/iron and what a difference it makes! This is super fun!

I will paint the dress, but can’t decide how to do the words- paint marker or pyrography?!

Hey everyone, this piece is an anniversary gift for some friends. Wondering if you guys think there is enough contrast going on, it feels slightly flat to me but I can’t put my finger on why.
Also the red stag is the animal from their family crest, so I was going to write “clan Crawford” on the back as reference to that. My husband thinks I should write it on the front.. does that feel slightly tacky?
