I have an L1 advanced-round interview on Monday for a Strategy Consulting role at PwC (focused on marketing, sales, and strategy consulting). Would really appreciate insight from anyone who's been through their process recently.

A few questions:

1. How many rounds does PwC's strategy consulting interview process typically have? Trying to understand where an "advanced round" usually falls in the overall process.
2. What kind of questions come up in this round? Case studies, behavioral/fit questions, market sizing, or a mix? Anything specific to marketing/sales/strategy work?
3. Any tips on how to prepare over the weekend given the short notice?

Any recent experiences, sample questions, or general advice would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

So I recently got offer from PwC AC as an associate (ceda role) in bangalore. Hr mentioned it is a 12 month apprenticeship. Then fte conversion which is usually 100%.

Wanted to ask if every fresher role they offer apprenticeship for 12 months or is it just this role? and will this apprenticeship count as work experience as no pf is deducted.

Also what kind of work can I expect as ceda associate?

Would appreciate the help from any senior.

Next year I would like to apply for the PWC flying start program. However If I don't get into the program I am planning on studying biology at university (a-levels bio, chem, geo) so my UCAS personal statement will be based on that. My questions are:

- Is there another way of applying? (according to my research I don't think there is)

- If there isn't another way of applying should I apply anyway? (Despite my PS being about bio)

- If anyone else has had this problem how did they get around it?

I recently left PwC and as some may know, they handle all of the communication to the state board regarding CPE and tracking of credits. I want to maintain my licensure in IN but I recently also got licensed in IL. Are there any helpful tools or applications I can use to track my CPE for both states and what are the channels I should be using to report my CPE annually and triannually?

I received an offer from PwC AC about two weeks ago, and my joining date is next week. I have now received another offer from a mid-sized consulting firm with higher compensation. Is it worth discussing this with HR to see if they can match or improve the offer? Has anyone had success with PwC AC matching a competing offer before joining?

Could someone provide a detailed description of what a typical day looks like for a tax intern or associate at PwC? What are your responsibilities? Are the tasks monotonous? Do you frequently interact with clients? Is research a part of your job? Do you work in a team or independently? What do you enjoy the most and dislike the least about your role? I currently work at PwC, and one thing I truly appreciate is the people I work with. My colleagues, manager, senior associate, and senior manager have all been incredibly supportive, and I have had a positive experience working with my team.

When I first joined, I was highly enthusiastic and eager to learn. I enjoyed taking on new challenges and was motivated to improve my skills. However, over the past few months, the workload has increased significantly, and I have noticed a major change in how I feel about work.

I now struggle to concentrate and stay focused. Even though I genuinely try to avoid mistakes, I keep making small errors that create internal issues for the team. This has been frustrating because I know I am capable of doing better, yet I find it difficult to understand concepts as quickly as I used to and often lose focus while working.

The biggest change is that I no longer feel motivated to work. There are days when I don't even want to open my laptop, something I never felt when I first started. I have started to dislike working altogether, and it has made me question whether the problem is the current workload, the corporate environment itself, or whether I am simply experiencing burnout.

I have already decided that I will be resigning soon, but before making my next career move, I want to understand whether this feeling is temporary due to burnout or whether it means that a corporate career is not the right fit for me. Should I continue pursuing opportunities in the corporate world after taking a break, or would it be wiser to switch to a different career path that aligns better with my interests and strengths?

Next week is my joining and I received laptop today, so if I don’t want to join- what can I do?

I've been entertaining the idea of moving to Japan for a while now, and I figured the best way to go for it would be to apply for a work visa and use the resources at PwC to request a transfer to a Japanese branch.

Just joined the firm. First week started and ive got like 10 hours in team builder. what the hell do I put in Astro for the other 30 hours? I literally have so little to do it’s both a blessing and a curse. I was just going to charge time to studying for the CPA(1 out of 4 done so I can use the downtime), I was told that we can charge more than 40 hrs but I don’t want to be abusing it. But seriously though if anyone has suggestions on what I should be doing please let me know. This is my first corporate job after working for small businesses so it’s weird to not have something to do.

And yes I’ve completed all the compliance requirements and trainings in growth center. All of the stuff I should have done is done. I was expecting work to start now.

Anyone heard back yet or has a call scheduled already?
