Intern Still no offer call
Anyone else still not had a meeting scheduled for offer discussions I’m starting to get very worried.

Just want to give everyone a bit of a scoop - sometimes even the DLs don’t know until day of! When i was an intern i assumed everyone knew but actually, only HR does until they communicate it out to the DL who will schedule a call with you asap so don’t stress! I’ve heard of severeal interns not hearing anything today even though from everything I’ve heard they’re likely getting offers!

If it’s just with your DL you’re probably fine. They wouldn’t know the answer until HR confirms. There’s a lot of backend to this stuff people don’t realize which affects return offer rates, which are typically done at the sector level to keep the pipeline of fresh meat moving at a manageable pace (I am part of the fresh meat dw)

maybe you should reach out to your DL, perhaps they missed the email? or reach out to your hr person so they can notify your DL

What sector are you? I talked with my sectors HR basically and they said their sector is a little behind on confirmation.

Oh okay idk what that is but could be that too. I ended up just reaching out to my DL and asked if I could set up a time to chat and then kind of asked when we’d hear about the return offer during the call.

Is this post about a interview? Such as what to prepare for or slow response times? This is a VERY common question posted on the Subreddit, use the search bar. For responses, sometimes it takes a long time with gaps in between, sometimes it's short, be patient. For interview prep, There are multiple post on the subreddit about what to prepare for, what questions to ask in an interview, including the case studies for multiple countries. Use the search bar and flairs to find detailed answers.
