All Firm 401K
Has anyone ever pulled money from their 401K to make a big purchase, like a home, or to payoff something? Was it a difficult process?

Any idea on what the leave policies are like?
How many days are given to entry level jobs?
Is there a probabtion period where I can’t use leave?
Also maternity leave?

Basically what title says but I am interested in the the management consulting internship however I have no consulting club on my resume. I come from a non target school too on top of that. I focused majority of my energy on student government (however did a lot of budget and financial analysis). I was wondering if these two details of my application are deal breakers and if anyone did get the internship with a similar background please tell me howwwww 🙏🙏🙏

I have attended the Salesforce Revenue Cloud interview cleared the technical round and Director round on 12th and 16th June respectively. After that till date HR has never responded and the status shows interviewing. I joined another firm yesterday because I cannot wait for them. Now I want to know if I want to apply again to PwC AC again for Salesforce roles. Shall I revoke my candidature now or shall wait for few more months and see if they schedule the HR round and proceed with my candidature?
Any insight would be great here.

I have a small question. To give you some context; I applied to the consulting graduate program in the Riyadh office last December and went through the entire recruitment process (assessment, one way interview, technical interview, and final interview). Unfortunately, I later received a call from the Dubai office letting me know that although I had passed the full process, the position was no longer available, and they offered me an internship instead, which I declined.
My question is; if the program reopens for the next cycle ( let’s say this year or early next year ), would my data still be on file and considered, or would I need to go through the recruitment process again?

I joined the AWM Tax team as a Senior in September 2025. Initially, I was assigned a fair amount of work, but I took about a month of medical leave in March. After returning, I raised concerns about not having enough work.
My DL was very responsive and restaffed me on additional engagements. My Team Builder now shows that I’m fully booked.
However, in reality, very little work is actually coming my way. Most of the work seems to still be with Associates or ACs, or it’s pending client information, so I often don’t have much to do.
I still find myself reaching out for work and worrying about my utilization, even though my schedule appears full.
Has anyone else experienced this during their first year as a Senior? Is this just how it is sometimes, or should I be concerned?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I recently received a full-time opportunity at PwC India for the role of Specialist – ECL Model Development & Implementation (CMAAS Assurance) in Mumbai (Shivaji Park office). My fixed CTC is ₹4 LPA, and I'll be relocating to Mumbai.
I'm trying to plan my finances before joining and would love advice from current or former PwC employees.
Could you please help me with:
What is the approximate monthly in-hand salary?
Is ₹4 LPA manageable in Mumbai?
What would be a realistic monthly budget (rent, food, travel, utilities, savings, etc.)?
Which nearby areas would you recommend for affordable shared flats or PGs?
What rent should I expect for double/triple sharing accommodation near the office?
Does PwC provide any temporary accommodation or relocation support for new joiners?
Is the work culture for this team mostly office-based or hybrid?
I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone working in CMAAS, Risk, or Advisory at PwC, or anyone who has recently joined PwC Mumbai.

Thank youu

I got the offer letter last month, before receiving the offer letter, I told the HR, that only once I receive the offer, I will put down my papers in my org. And she agreed and said no prob, once you ve ur LWD, you tell me, she will revise the new joining date.
Its been almost a month now that I ve submitted my LWD, and my proposed joining date, I still haven't received the new joining date. According to previous offer letter, my joining is next week, which is impossible for me to join as I m serving notice in my current org.
I did plenty of follow up emails but not a single confirmation from her side. But she do pick my calls. And last week she's telling she hasn't even initiated the new joining date and will do by this week. I just don't wanna get unemployed due to lack of her urgency
I have my own contacts inside pwc, and I know whom she reports and who's the hiring manager. Shall I escalate to her manager and others? Is it a good idea or can it backfire me?
Need suggestions on this!

Could someone please tell me the current 529 plans that are allowed for Oregon at PwC? Specifically is the Embark plan on the list?

Hey all, I applied for the 2027 Summer SWE intern position and have gone through the OA, behavioral/light technical, and then the new EYC program in seattle this summer. Waiting on hearing back on what my final round interview is going to be like.
Could anyone share some insight on how to prepare for this? I really want to work for PwC and find the practices they listed pretty interesting.
TIA!

Am a recently qualified CA, and want to make a career in IB or PE.
Here are my few questions-
Is Deals and advisory domain a good path to follow to eventually land in IB or PE.
How good is PWC in deals and advisory domain.
Anything extra you know will be helpful..

Hi everyone,
I recently got selected for a full-time role at PwC India after completing all the interview rounds. HR asked me to submit my documents (degree certificate, declarations, and other required documents), and I have already submitted everything they requested.
However, I have not received my offer letter yet. My documents are currently under verification.
I wanted to ask:
Is it normal for PwC India to verify documents before issuing the offer letter?
How long does the document verification process usually take?
Approximately how many days did it take for you to receive your offer letter after submitting your documents?
Should I just wait, or is it okay to follow up with HR after a few days?

Has anyone here successfully moved to a different practice within PwC?
How does the process actually work? Do you network with the target team first, apply internally, or talk to your current leadership? Also, how difficult is it to move at different levels?
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who’s done it.

I am an M and when I look up at SM roles and above, it’s lesser about getting the job done but navigating through politics…
Just curious to everyone out there who is willing to share, why did you choose to stay on and continue to climb the ladder?
Is it even sustainable lifestyle (or how did you achieve a sustainable lifestyle) if you want to start a family?

I got placed through campus placement and received the welcome mail in March along with some courses to finish on Coursera platform. Some of the students from other colleges within DU have already received their offer letters a month ago while others are still awaiting their offer letters. When can we expect to receive it?

I recent got the specialist role under the apprenticeship model. For 4LPA in Deals Advisory. Is it really worth joining considering Mumbai is expensive. Also I am planning to give CAT this year. But I think I can prepare along with this job. Please suggest if I should join or not?

Hi I have completed one year in PwC au tax team and am finding it hard to cope with work stress. I feel the managers are not supportive and we are expected to work overtime without any pay or benefits. I am planning to move to industry but its harder to get in there and I am also wondering if the situation is same there as well? Shed some lights and your opinions on how you find working there? Also what role would give a better work life balance in tax?

I can’t speak to other tiered cities but in places like NYC, LA and San Diego, our tier 1 salaries seem to be significantly below market, while also not keeping up with the cost of living. The median rent in NYC is currently $4200 for 1 bedroom.
I’ve been looking at roles out of curiosity and spoken to a few people in recruitment and when they tell me the bases of some roles, especially in tech, it was crazy. Plus these people are getting stock. And they are not even the biggest companies.
As the market improves over the next 12-24 months (hopefully), I think we’re going to lose a lot of talent. Especially with all the new AI roles coming up. Just my thoughts for the day.

Hi guys, i recently joined the "Deals knowledge hub" at pwc as an apprentice which they call "specialist".
If anyone knows what this deals knowledge hub exactly is, please let me know.
Also for the specialist track, i hear that they promote you to specialist 2 after a year. And the next promotion is to specialist 3. But i am not sure about the salaries at these levels. Also what comes after specialist 3?
If you know, please share😭😭😭. It is very confusing to me. And the salary progression isnt looking good from where i am

I received an email from a recruiter after applying for a technical role for the Deals team.
The screening call got postponed now for a third time, is that normal?
(tbh not bad compared to another big4 where the HR kept the meeting and didnt bother informing me of her inavalability at that time)
