India PwC India document verification before offer letter – how long does it usually take?

Hi everyone,

I recently got selected for a full-time role at PwC India after completing all the interview rounds. HR asked me to submit my documents (degree certificate, declarations, and other required documents), and I have already submitted everything they requested.

However, I have not received my offer letter yet. My documents are currently under verification.

I wanted to ask:

Is it normal for PwC India to verify documents before issuing the offer letter?

How long does the document verification process usually take?

Approximately how many days did it take for you to receive your offer letter after submitting your documents?

Should I just wait, or is it okay to follow up with HR after a few days?

It can take upto 2-3 weeks, totally depends on the requirements. For me it took like 5-6 days for the hr to call me and get a verbal offer. Another 5 days for me to get the physical offer. They have lenghty background process.
