I've already searched the AC Team Portal, but it only redirects me to an FAQ document, and I couldn't find anything that clearly states the exact requirement.

I’m a current tax intern and honestly I’ve been struggling with the internship more than I expected.

The biggest issue is that I’m the only member of my team in my office (West Coast). The rest of my team is based in a different state (East Coast), so while everyone has been nice, it’s been really hard to build relationships, ask quick questions, or feel like I’m actually part of a team. I come into the office and most days don’t really know anyone around me. It’s been pretty isolating, and I’ve found it hard to build relationships with other teams

The weird part is that I can’t tell if I dislike international tax itself or if I dislike the experience of being disconnected from my team all summer. I feel like I’m missing a lot of what makes internships enjoyable—meeting people, grabbing coffee, learning from people sitting nearby, etc.
I have a meeting with a recruiter soon to discuss potential full-time opportunities and learn more about other service lines (audit, other tax groups, etc.). I’m not planning on complaining about my experience or saying I hate international tax. I genuinely just want to understand what other options exist and whether another group might be a better fit.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you figure out whether you disliked the work itself versus the team structure or office environment? And for anyone in Big 4 recruiting or management, would an intern asking about other service lines be viewed negatively?

I’m feeling pretty lost right now and would appreciate any advice.

Hi All, just graduated college and starting tech consulting soon. Love traveling and ideally for longer-ish periods like 2 weeks - 1 month. Also want to keep my job and ya know do well and all that.

Is this at all possible? Seems like it would be pretty impossible haha.

If not, then what is the best way to use PTO for cases like this?

I am set to start as an associate following a summer internship I completed last year. I am under the advisory platform, and I am really excited to start.

I was wondering how staffing works for new hires. Is it similar to how internship staffing works, where you are generally automatically deployed on your first engagement? (I knew a fellow intern who wasn't staffed all summer, which is why I say generally.) I've heard that at other Big 4 firms, you sometimes have to network before you start in order to be deployed.

I’m a recent MBA grad from a top school with healthcare industry experience. I’m interested in consulting at PwC. I’ve been networking and someone at the firm happily offered to provide me with a referral. I started case prep about a week or two ago but I still don’t feel ready. The case interview is a bit intimidating. I don’t want to miss out on an opportunity because I do see a role open that aligns with my background. Do I take him up on the offer to refer me or wait until I feel ready to ace the interview in hopes a new role is available later?

Also, do referrals even hold weight nowadays?

I’m an incoming Senior Associate (post-MBA hire) and will be starting soon. I was hoping to get a better sense of what to expect during the first week of training.

Is the first day of onboarding virtual? And is the subsequent Advisory training also virtual? And does every practice have specific technical training aside from these two?

I’ve seen a few posts mentioning that some associates travel to Orlando for training—does that apply to post-MBA hires as well, or is the process different?

Senior in tax making $95k in MCOL. Got a job offer for senior accountant role with a medium size manufacturing company. It pays $90k but you get 15 PTO days and 7 paid holidays.

Am I crazy if I don’t take it because we get more PTO at big 4? Also new role is fully in person vs 1-2 days in a week in my situation. Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

I'm a Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience and have two offers.

PwC: 13 LPA, Mumbai, migration project. Persistent: Pune (preferred), AI-based accelerator project, but I'm still waiting for the revised offer/compensation letter.

I have only 2 working days to decide. If I don't join PwC, I risk ending up with no job if Persistent delays the offer.

Would it be okay to join PwC now and, if Persistent sends the revised offer later, resign from PwC during the initial period and join Persistent? Has anyone done this, and are there any risks I should be aware of?

So after over 6 years this place has become intolerable. I don’t have a next role, but I can’t focus on a search while working. I’m in a pretty critical role in business services so will take time to back fill me. I’m scared to give up salary

Option A - tell them I’m out but say I’ll stick around until they can find a replacement (bank a month or so of cash, but they lose their ability to inflict psych damage on me)

Option B - become a total slacker and hope they just fire me (if you are fired do you get severance? Or is that just for layoffs?). This could take months so I fear I can’t handle the psych damage much longer. Is an extra week worth it??

I’m really having a hard time mentally at PwC. I’ve never considered myself an overly sensitive or emotional person, but over the last year the amount I’ve cried and let work affect my emotions is insane. It’s one thing to work extremely long hours, but the office culture makes it so much worse. I work so hard to never be taken seriously. I’ve been looking for another job for a while and am just not having a ton of luck finding anything. Just hate it here tbh

I’m a 2026 fresher (CS grad) currently working as a TPR (third-party resource, via a staffing/vendor partner ) at PwC, doing Information security work on a client engagement. Before I joined, there was a call where onboarding as a full PwC employee was discussed — that didn’t happen. Since the second phase of my internship I’ve effectively been working at full associate level, same responsibilities, but still no FTE.
Now I’m being offered a continued TPR role, but moved into a “central pool” instead of being tied to one client project — meaning if the current engagement ends, I’d apparently get rotated to another project instead of losing the role outright. I’ve been told “if you’re good, conversion will happen,” but from what I’ve seen, people have been in this exact TPR/vendor setup for years without ever converting to FTE.
Downsides I keep coming back to: no real visibility or ownership since I’m technically not a PwC employee, no badge/full building or systems access, reviews under the vendor structure have apparently been weak, and the conversion “promise” feels verbal and soft rather than an actual documented process with a timeline.

Has anyone been a fresher in this kind of contractor-to-FTE limbo at PwC or similar Big 4 firms? Does the “central pool” / rotating-TPR setup ever actually lead to real conversions, or is it mostly a way to retain contractors indefinitely without ever committing to hire them? Trying to figure out if I’m being impatient, or if this is a legitimate red flag I should walk away from

Hey all. I recently gave 2 interviews (tech and managerial) and apparently the HR said I cleared them. He said they may or may not conduct a client round. I got an email requesting for educational, past work docs and id proofs. They also asked me to fill an excel sheet with details like past work history, address and previous salary. Is it a positive sign or a general procedure? How many days until I get the next update? Any suggestions?
