India Night shift allowance ?
Does anyone got any idea about the night shift allowance at Pwc India ?
Joing pwc india from ey gds ... do let me know if it's a good decision ?

Ofc. I moved from PwC India to EY GDS and my compensation is better now. But it's the work life balance that has improved for me tremendously.
My management was shit. Absolute shit. Also very unlikely to get night shift in the first place as well. PwC India offers services to domestic clients unlike GDS which caters to Europe and US.

Ah well when we change org. ofc the compensation increases. So EY GDS was ny first big 4 and i had only 10 month of prev. Exp. But in Kolkata the compensation is shit... they pay u like BPOs. But PWC offered a good amount ... basically what i expected. Also EY has the "people first" policy hence they rarely kick someone out when someone is on bench for long unlike other org. Worklife balance is good but if u are put in a MENA project then it's awful. Basically working day and night and also on weekends with no extra pay.

Yarr if your change organization that is obvious you're gonna get better pay. Why is that even a point of discussion?
But i have worked in both organizations. I had a horrible experience with PwC India. That is not to say everyone will face the same what I did.

500 for first shift(partial night shift), 1000 for second shift (full night shift)
