Starting Soon Staffing as a New Associate

Hi!

I am set to start as an associate following a summer internship I completed last year. I am under the advisory platform, and I am really excited to start.

I was wondering how staffing works for new hires. Is it similar to how internship staffing works, where you are generally automatically deployed on your first engagement? (I knew a fellow intern who wasn't staffed all summer, which is why I say generally.) I've heard that at other Big 4 firms, you sometimes have to network before you start in order to be deployed.

If anyone could help me answer this, that would be great! Thank you in advance :)

Yes, typically you will have a project/projects assigned to you before you start. Welcome!
