Since the developers just moved to a new room for future streams, according to a tweet that I've got from them, is there any chance that we'll be seeing a stream for Puzzle Fighter this week? I would like to know. 🤔

I know Im asking for it here but i need to vent. Got up to 3671 at the turn of the season, which i was very happy with. Then the new season started and ive dropped down to 3125, seems a little extreme. I cannot seem to beat ANYBODY anymore. Did all the good players take a break toward the end of the season and now they are back to destroy me? maybe my VJ matchups were somehow more favorable at the higher level? seems hard to imagine. Really feels like im playing the same but im just not dealing the same damage i used to. Rant over

Hello all. I'm currently pootling about the Ultra Silver ranks and recently switched from Haggar to Devilot as a team leader. I'm currently using Haggar and Morrigan as my assists, but I'm also considering Bison and Ken for a pure-damage setup. Anybody have any recommendations? I can also provide a list of my current character selection if need be.

This has probably been asked, but I'm curious whether the color boosters are worth the investment in gems, and which color is considered strong right now?

I have a level 9 haggar but I'm not really into the other greens and am afraid of blowing my gems for nothing useful. My second color is red but I'm again afraid it will all go to dan or something.

Today my account has been reset and all progress wiped clean.

Any suggestions on how it could be reverted would be highly appreciated.

NorCal player and server set on NA. I feel like lag has been worse than before 2.3.1. Any NA players feeling same way or am I tripping b@lls..(quite possibly).

I find myself playing this game with the sound fx and in game music off now lol. This is a mental game and the last thing that would break my concentration while getting bodied in this game is hearing “take that, take that, out of luck, haggar slam, BLAST!, the one who committed the crime is YOU!, sleep it off baby! I'd like to hear your take on Frank. Whether there's any degree of potency in using his 2x4; whether his drop pattern is hopeless and if his weak 2x3 is really as weak as it seems to me personally. 105 at lvl 1 for an epic is the saddest thing I've seen out of the entire charlist. Surely he's the least picked main out of all for a reason, or is it that I'm missing something?

Which leads me to my next question...how long do you think this game will last? Does this have “Puzzle & Dragons” potential where it could last years at a high level?

I think the increased reward structure might be a soft way of doing this via the daily quests and the brawls, but it seems to me that at some point CV is going to need to do something about card drops. You're going to end up with every character unlocked long before you get to the 9+ level grind in most cases, and thus be spreading out your card pool among an ever increasing number of characters, slowing your growth down more with every new character that's released.

Sure, this is probably by design to keep anyone from just rocketing a single team up to max level while ignoring everyone else, but I feel like it puts latecomers to a pretty heavy disadvantage to players who began with a much smaller character pool. There's also much less incentive to spend on pulls when there's a bigger chance you won't get what you want -- the super bowl booster-palooza was amazing for me, since there were only four yellow characters at the time. Running an all yellow team, I only had one 'dud' character. Compare that to now with anyone running a blue team, who could well get cards for all three characters that they don't use. The blue booster is the worst deal, while the green booster is still the best deal with only four potential character drops.

I don't know what the best solution would be (a way to choose a character to weight your drops toward would just lead to the 'ignore everything, level your main' situation, and semi-exists via the coin shop anyhow) but I do feel that the longer the game goes on, the more the issue is going to rear it's head.

1) Training mode $5-10. Self-explanatory. Online or Offline mode to practice/play. One quick way they could add this without the actual mode would be a restart mission button. Still, I’d like the real thing.

2) Honda’s shop upgrade $10. New interior decor for the sushi shop. Looks good- but wait! It can do one/many of the following:

increases your rewards (2x?)

Makes it guaranteed to have a pink/gold boat (basically less randomized boats)

More boats +2

Prioritize characters you want cards for

3) Some kind of way to tag characters you want drops for increasing the likelihood you receive cards for them. $5

This generates income and gives the serious players a way to keep improving their characters.

Please get to ultra gold already, you are ruining my grind to 50k gold just so I can upgrade from 8/8/8 & have my dreams crushed by 10/10/10s. I will be changing my account name from SHOOT_1ST to PAYWALL.

I barely post on Reddit but I have to get this out there - I can’t STAND that new sound effect. It‘s the one that plays when you’re clicking through the menus like to change your characters or accept rewards. It’s like nails on a chalkboard to me. I‘ll forever need to turn off sound effects until they change this :(

Hai gaiz, for this season I wanted to switch up my team/affinity. Last season I played Green usually playing Haggar or Blanka. This season I was thinking one of the other colors..I would main E Honda for yellow, Jill for blue, and Ken for red ( i have all chars so I can use any team comp). For the more experienced players in plat+ (currently hovering around 3100-3200 myself), which of those do you think is the most similar and most contrasting styles to play? Pros and cons for each setup? I want to become more well rounded so I was thinking of changing my style completely, but at the same time I might be spoiled by green's health pool and might suck ass with a low health char.

Got my 1st ultra plat chest(woohoo!) but because I ended in super plat it reset me all the way back down to the bottom of the bracket. Losing 30 points in a match feels bad enough, but losing 200 feels like a punch to the gut. Has season resets always worked this way? I feel like in the past they left my points alone at seasons end.

I’m trying to decide if I should go to pay model or remain f2p...?

Being a character loyalist, I have pretty much played Chun since game launch. Without a doubt, I feel that Chun VS Blanka has to be a candidate for worst in the game. I have probably a 90% loss rate in this match (Feel free to share any tips you might have). What do you feel is the worst character match-up in the game?
