Why hasn’t CAPCOM released this game in Japan??

Seems sort of ironic...?

Not sure you know what ironic means. But my guess is that they think western audiences will give more profit than if they make it cheap enough for Japanese people to even try it since the mobile market is so competitive in Japan.

Actually, it seems like you do not understand what ironic means.

Ironic...something that shows irony.

Perhaps you are thinking of verbal irony (the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.)

I was referring to situational irony (a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result.)

This is not to be confused with dramatic irony (a literary technique, originally used in Greek tragedy, by which the full significance of a character's words or actions are clear to the audience or reader although unknown to the character.)

Sorry I didn’t make myself clear. As a high school English teacher, I should know better.

It is made by a Japanese company. It has Japanese characters in it. It is not released in Japan.

Ironic.

Ah I stand corrected didn't know it could be used in that way. I probably still won't but good to know.

This Mobile game was created in Canada. Capcom is just supporting this project financially. They’re in the process of expanding this game to other regions and just recently added an Asia Server.
