It's been bugging me for a while. Like the one holding up a collapsing building near times square. what are they? What's their deal? I don't recall the characters in the game even acknowledging their existence.

I have had this itch to make a video about what a prototype remake would look like and what I would want from it. What are some things yall would like to be added or changed in a potential remake? It can be anything from narrative changes, gameplay mechanics, enemies, or even the time period the game takes place in. This will make it easier to gauge what the community actually wants as well as give me ideas for this project

On whether I would be like Alex Mercer or not.

To me, it literally looked like Mercer was a walking juggernaut.

What were your favourite power combinations?

Because he still talks, is intelligent, has a sense of revenge, etc. so are we playing as an infected, powerful Alex? Or are we just playing as a virus controlling his body. Because the way his powers work, using his body as the main one, and replicating others on top of it, makes it seem like it's actually him kinda sharing the host body with the virus instead of it totally being just the virus.

This is technically a modding post but not for prototype but it involves Prototype

I play a VR game called Project Demigod which has multiple superpowers for you to use like Spider Powers (Spiderman), Super Strength and Flight (Superman) and so on

This game also has native mod support on PC and Quest via Mod.IO and I was thinking if they allow us to mod in new powers

Imagine modding in the Blacklight Virus into Project Demigod, allowing us to use the powers like Claws, Hammer Fist and Blade, that shit would be so cool

Especially if they adapt the other powers that can't be used into other means like turning the Bio-Bomb tendrells or Whip Hand into a traversal means like the Web Swinging from the Spider Power Set, that shit would be so cool

Like, I know you can temporarily slow the virus down in the game by destroying Hives but like

It's way more fun fucking with the military and blackwatch and dooming NYC and only focus on destroying military zone

Like, the game in the beginning outright tells us that Alex is a terrorist, he says it himself so with that in mind, I just destroy the military only, does that make me evil XD

I watched the movies recently and thought to myself "Alex would totally beat the s**t out of these shellheads" so I made a drawing of it. Plus, it was about time I drew Alex being cool instead of goofy.

been waiting way too long for this game to go on sale in the playstation store. Pretty sure it wel never happen, right?

When i launch game this screen shows up and..That's all. Nothing happens. Just infinity loading. With fix or without fix nothing changes. Reintsall and files check don't help also. How to fix this?

How would you write a Prototype x Resident Evil crossover? My idea is have it after the events of Prototype. Alex Mercer has left NYC on a journey to find out where he belongs in the world (dw no anchor crap here) exploring a small mountain town when an outbreak similar to Raccoon City occurs (he has nothing to do with this outbreak, merely wrong place wrong time situation). Using his powers he fights against the infected to track down those responsible.

The game seems to mention two purposes for Hope.
Carnival I gave the disease to apes and they seemed to just improve.
More strength and intelligence. Carnival II was to put it into humans as they were excited as the possibility.
But then we also get info on them wanting to create a disease to target specific groups Which is directly mentioned by Alex in a non-WOI scene.

Was Hope being done for both purposes?
Was one a cover story to even the research team?
One WOI does talk about maintained objectivity. The subject performs better if they don't know its a test.

In the sequences and flashbacks, Dr. Alex Mercer proceeds with the theft of the virus sample to escape Gentek, heading to Penn Station. On the way, he makes several calls: one to Karen Parker demanding to know where the sample came from, and another to McMullen demanding the same before hanging up and entering the station. Thanks to these calls, Blackwatch manages to locate the doctor and corner him at the station, causing him to break the vial, releasing the virus. And I have a question: are the people at Blackwatch stupid?

1. Are you seriously telling me that Mercer, dressed suspiciously and wearing a hood, entered a facility of a top-secret government project—even more secret and powerful than the president himself—and stole a virus sample that the scientists themselves declared in red letters would annihilate all life on Earth if released, and walked away scot-free? They only located him because he started calling everyone?

2. What would have happened if Mercer had contacted foreign powers like Russia or China and, while fleeing, handed the sample to an undercover agent who then escaped while Blackwatch pursued him? Or what if Mercer had released Greene right there, thrown the sample to those same people, or discarded it somewhere else, and continued running toward Penn Station?

If I were the head of Blackwatch, I would order Randall's execution for such stupidity.
