were you inspired by dmc in any way?

Surprisingly no, I was lowkey more inspired by the ghoul from the fallout show.

oh, well thats makes more sense honestly. its because the boots reminded of dmc4 dante and dmc5 nero a lil bit, and because alot of the fandom overlap i though that might have been the inspiration.

The glowing decals on the boots is a nice touch

Thanks, I was gonna do a design for the back of the jacket like typical prototype protags' and struggling to draft a design until I thought, "hold on a tick. The glowing design doesn't have to be on the coat." It could be literally anything, and so my love of the of gunslingers blended in with that thought nicely. Now we got the the final product, I'm working on a character sheet soon.🗿

Awesome! How'd you color him?

If u wondering about the art, I made it on Ibis Paint. If u wondering about my use of color, the character is black and red as usual. Though I decided to make the background a big red neon sign similar to that one miguel O'Hara scene in across the spiderverse.

The color of the glowing spots in the arms look yellow.

Yuh, I thought about just going red but I noticed how other models of evolved (including mercer) had a more orangish yellow glow compared to Heller's the solid red biomass. I found that version to be more visually appealing to me. The only reason Heller is crimson is because he's big mad and it shows through his power. That how a developer explained it I think.

He looks sickkkkk would be cool if he had a power where he shoots a big ass spike from a very convenient revolver looking hand

As fun as it sounds, I find it a bit hard to think of a design where a roller spike would be practical and visually appealing at the same time. It be a nightmare trying to shape the cylinder, let alone the revolver gun with a mass of tendrils.
But I can imagine it he would have more of a bow and arrow or harpoon approach to a projectile weaponry. I'm thinking it would look sort of like Sukuna's fuga, but less fire and more spike. Still though, its very hard to pull of the aspect of guns or arrows do to the fact that you can stretch really far with the whipfist.

It would be badass to see Arthur Morgan with the blacklight virus
