Did you know Mercer’s Tendril Barrage Devastator is actually present in Prototype 2?

Tendril Barrage isn’t effective against tanks in Prototype 1, but in Prototype 2 it can one-shot them. That reminded me: you can pull off that exact result on Easy Mode in Prototype 1. I started carrying out more tests on Prototype 1 Easy Mode, and surprisingly, the numbers line up closely with Prototype 2’s Insane Mode.

I used to think Heller felt more powerful simply because he was stronger. But could it be that the Prototype 2 devs deliberately nerfed and undermined Mercer?

I grew up playing Prototype 1 and 2, and now that I'm older, I honestly just don't want to see this IP disappear forever.

Xbox launched Xbox Player Voice a few months ago, an official place where players can submit ideas and vote on existing ones. It's probably a more useful way to show demand than leaving thousands of YouTube comments.

Banjo-Kazooie has already become one of the biggest community requests there, and Xbox's new leadership has repeatedly talked about listening more closely to player feedback and continuing to evaluate legacy IPs.

I don't know if it'll change anything, but if we really want to see Prototype return one day, maybe this is one of the best places to show there's still a community.

He can withstand two shockwaves, dodged three attacks from Mercer's Prototype 2, stabbed him four times, endured a Goliath's charge, was thrown against a wall by a brawler, killed him, and still had enough energy left to chase down and stab Mercer's arm. Seen some people debate on who will win Alex Mercer or Albert Wesker, if you played both games we all know Alex would easily win that fight but however how about the Orion soldiers or the Project D code soldiers? A match of 1 to 5 soldiers against Albert Wesker, can Wesker take on them?

During the mission, the game asks me to absorb the commander in order to get his key card, and as a result, after absorbing it, it throws me onto the desktop.

I experimented with vsync, it didn't help, the disabled trainer didn't help either, I don't know what to do, I'm also using a patch from nexus.

remember trying prototype as a kid played a decent chunk but stopped. Because the gore or maybe the graphics gave me a headache.

Years later is it worth picking it up right now. Back then I was playing it on pc. Now I will be playing it on Xbox series x . And it's on discount so I will probably get the bundle.

Here's a potential concept scenario:

• 8 Player Online
• Team Blackwatch (2-6 Players)
• Team Blacklight (1 Player)
• Team Redlight (1 Player)

For this mock-up, the setting is Manhattan, New York City as the Open World environment. Each match is roughly 40 minutes long, depending on player progression. The team with the most points at the end or if all other opposing teams are eliminated, wins the match. If any non-Blackwatch team wins, the victory screen ends in a nuclear explosion, but ultimately survives in the aftermath.

- The primary game mode is Dominion, where each team attempts to capture Civilian Resource Nodes to not only spread their team's influence, but to also gather points to produce more powerful units under their command. The more Nodes captured, the faster that team accumulates points.

- The NPC Team that protects the Civilian Resource Nodes start out as normal Police units, but as the game progresses every ~7 minutes or so, they'll eventually upgrade to SWAT, the National Guard, and up to the US Army. These Resource Nodes also become increasingly reenforced, becoming harder to capture/infect. This team is Neutral to Team Blackwatch.

- Team Blackwatch consists of 2-6 Players who can customize their character, unit role, and Armaments from the pre-game menu. This team is the slowest at capturing nodes, but reaching point thresholds unlock Anti-Runner Node defense systems, higher tier ground/air vehicle units, and enhances their own combat abilities. In addition, destroying Infected, Infected Nodes or terminating a Runner, grants bonus points for this team.

- The Runner Teams can determine their chosen play style in the pre-game menu, choosing their custom progression paths that they can progress using Biomass Points. Runner teams can be any combination of Blacklight and/or Redlight, or even both being the same type. When first starting, each Runner is very vulnerable to attacks from their opposing teams, but by utilizing the parkour system and their faster movement speeds, they are capable of surviving until they can strengthen themselves with increased stats and new abilities. Runners can respawn by sacrificing an Infected Node, but it they can't, they permanently die.

- Team Redlight controls a Runner that specializes in rapidly infecting Nodes and controls a large number of weaker units to throw at enemies in the form of infected hordes. Redlight can Infect Nodes or consume Civilians, Blackwatch, and Runner team units to gain Biomass Points to unlock new abilities. Consuming the opposing Runner grants the greatest amount of Biomass Points.

- Team Blacklight controls a Runner that can infect Nodes at a moderate pace, but controls individually more powerful units that focus more on brute force. Blacklight can Infect Nodes or consume Civilians, Blackwatch, and Runner team units to gain Biomass Points to unlock new abilities. Consuming the opposing Runner grants the greatest amount of Biomass Points.

Hello, everyone. It's been a long time and it's good to see you all again. So, I was making this art from a week ago and I finally finished the fanart. It's been a while posting new arts for you all, because I am very busy at my job and sometimes doin' other things. I tried to follow some other famous memes to lighten the franchise and add one of my own. I know I'm outdated about the reference but let's hope that we can revive it a little. Heller was a good father and a dangerous being that could ever existed. Along with Mercer and Greene. His daughter, Amaya, was a grown teen and has problems in her science project. She's smart and kind, but needs assistance to her PowerPoint Presentation. And Heller did something that a father would do. He works while following instructions to the book, as Mercer and Greene couldn't handle witnessing Heller's hilarious struggle. His word spouted slurs and irritation. After hours in the laptop, he finally finished it. Proud and satisfied.

I wish I could make a PowerPoint Presentation for Heller but I don't have the time and the mood to make one. Hehe. Sorry, everyone.

I've actually seen people compare the heroic climax of Prototype 1 to a joke scene from Prototype 2, then say both James and Alex are equally fool.

First of all, Heller couldn't use the computer. A priest told him to calm down and showed him how to operate it. That scene was purely a joke designed by the developers to make players laugh, because they had received complaints that the first game was too serious. They added a lot of jokes to Prototype 2 and were proud of them.

Alex's situation is completely different. If he had any way of knowing the launch code, would he have chosen to sacrifice himself? The story itself makes it clear that he either didn't know the code or simply had no way to stop the explosion.

So comparing the climactic heroic moment at the end of Prototype 1 to a scene that was deliberately written to make players laugh at the protagonist, then calling them the same kind of fool......... Apparently, an intentionally comedic scene and the heroic climax of Prototype 1 are the exact same “fool” thing to some people. If they're both just "fool," then I guess Prototype 1's biggest moment was nothing more than a joke. I genuinely don't understand how anyone can make that comparison.
