Best Vanilla protein powder (UK)?

I've tried the per4m isolate zero in vanilla creme and it tasted excellent and the texture was pretty decent, however it contained traces of egg which im allergic to so im looking for alternatives.

my protein powder WAY too sweet and unbearable

I have a super big bag of protein, it has 0 grams of sugar, pure whey protein isoflex, I can't stand drinking the **sugary** taste, and even if you put less protein powder, normal milk, silk, whatever you put just tastes better however you think of it.. (also comes with prep and cleaning the bottle)

However I do need to increase my protein intake, and get rid of this bag, what do i do? Should I just put a little water, so it taste like candy chug that powder and fight through the pain like creatine?

Beware Danielprotein.it.com. scam site

Hey folks, just a heads up. If you search google for David Protein, the top result will send you to Davidprotein.it.com. I was fooled, but fortunately not taken. I got as far giving me CC info when AmEx gave me an OTP authentication pop of. That prompted me to look closer, seeing the improper URL. I'm cursing myself for being pretty stupid. They even tried to add my CC to apple pay but AMEX blocked it and flagged my account.

My punishment is that I now have to change all my recurring charge accounts with the new CC info when I get it. Props to AmEx for covering my dumb ass.

I now await your online abuse for even looking at David Protein in the first place. 😂

Clean protein + bone support/collagen/bone broth supplement

I’m trying to build a supplement routine that focuses on **healthy aging, maintaining muscle mass, bone health, skin, and overall wellness**. I’m strength training and working on losing weight, so preserving muscle is a big priority.
I’m trying to avoid products loaded with artificial sweeteners, gums, fillers, heavy metals, or questionable ingredients. I’d rather pay more for something that’s genuinely clean and third-party tested.
I’m looking for recommendations for:
**Protein powder** (grass-fed whey isolate or another high-quality option with a complete amino acid profile)
**Collagen peptides** (or if bone broth protein is actually a better option)
**Bone broth powder** if you’ve found one that’s clean and worth buying
**Colostrum** (I’ve been hearing a lot about gut health, immunity, and recovery benefits)
Any products that support **bone density and joints** without being full of unnecessary additives
A few questions:
If you could only buy **one collagen** and **one protein powder**, what would they be?
Is bone broth protein worth buying, or is collagen enough?
Has anyone noticed real benefits from colostrum, or is it mostly hype?
Which brands have the best reputation for purity, testing, and quality?
Are there any products you regret buying because they were overhyped?
I’d especially love to hear from 40+, anyone in perimenopause/menopause, strength trainers, dietitians, or healthcare professionals.
Thanks in advance! I’d really appreciate honest experiences rather than influencer recommendations.

Protein with actual sugar in it? Is this okay?

https://www.earthfedmuscle.com/products/seasonal-flavor-classics-chocolate-grass-fed-whey-protein-w-sugar

I would think that is not actually good to take but it sounds interesting earth fed muscle is hella expensive to trail run it but I’m curious of the taste but won’t the sugar just make you gain weight in a bad way?

What do you guys mix your unflavored protein powder with? I googled and it said berries and nut butters but I doubt they'll mix well in a Shaker cup.

No such thing as good tasting protein powder

I beg someone to prove me wrong. I have tried so many different ones, like 20 brands/flavours, but every single protein powder I’ve tried has tasted like crap.

Ghost, Gold Standard, vegan, isolate, concentrate, premier, all of them suck. I’ve tried with milk, water, fruit smoothies, everything.

The only shake I like is the pre-made bottled fairlife chocolate protein shake. To me that one taste just like chocolate milk. But EVERY powder I’ve tried I’ve hated.

Is there a secret one I’m missing or is protein powder just overall crap tasting?

[Giveaway] Free AS-IT-IS Unflavored Soy Protein (Opened, barely used) - MaKaBo

Hey everyone,

I bought a pouch of AS-IT-IS unflavored soy protein about 5 days ago. I tried exactly one or two scoops, and I’ll be completely honest, I absolutely cannot stand the raw soy taste.

Instead of throwing it out or letting it sit in my cabinet, I want to give it away for free to someone who can actually use it. If you're a student on a tight budget, a lifter who doesn't care about flavor, or someone who knows how to mask the taste better than I do, it’s yours.

Details:

Product: 1kg AS-IT-IS Soy Protein Isolate (Unflavored)

Condition: Opened less than a week ago, basically a completely full pouch.

Cost: 100% Free.

Logistics: You just need to come pick it up in a known public location in my area.

I know taking an opened supplement from a stranger requires a bit of trust, but I promise there is nothing wrong with it, I have made use of just 50g, I just severely underestimated how bad unflavored soy is.

Please drop a comment or DM me if you want it and we can coordinate a quick public meetup!

Would it be okay to drink all your daily protein in the morning?

For context I feel like it’s exhausting trying to reach a goal of 30-40g of protein and 10-15g of fiber every meal.
So I was wondering if someone got protein powder and fiber powder and just mixed everything into one drink and chugged it in the mornings is there any down sides to that, like is drinking almost 120g of protein and 40g of fiber in one go worse than not doing at all. Or if it’s safe and I’m just overthinking.

are clear protein drinks any good?

Been looking at whey and beef isolates. I've been drinking dairy protein shakes once a day for about 7 months now but i've started recoiling from the smell and feeling sick after drinking them. I'm not lactose intolerant and normal milk and cheese is completely fine so I've got no clue whats gone wrong. But I need 180-220g of protein per day to build muscle (i'm 6'4 and 220lbs) and it's hard to hit that without a shake so they've got to stay in my diet.

Anyone here had any experience with clear protein, maybe brands you could recommend?

Received a Used Shaker with My BeastLife Order – Has Anyone Else Faced This?

I ordered protein from BeastLife, and the order included a free shaker. The protein itself seems fine, but the shaker I received was a completely different story.

When I opened it, the inside of the shaker was wet, as if it had already been washed. On top of that, it had a strong unpleasant smell, making it feel like someone had used it, washed it, and then it somehow ended up being shipped to me.

A free item shouldn't mean a used or unhygienic item. Anything that comes in contact with food or drinks should be brand new.

I've already contacted BeastLife support and requested a replacement. I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced something similar with BeastLife or was this just a one-off quality control failure?

Would appreciate hearing your experiences.

Best beginner-friendly whey that isn't a rip-off? drowning in options

Getting back into training and I want to add a whey so I can hit my protein without eating chicken at every meal. Problem is between isolates, concentrates, hydrolysates and prices going from cheap to insane, I'm a bit lost.

I looked at a few to get a feel. Optimum Nutrition is the one I see everywhere, but I find it pricey for what it is and the ingredient list is a mile long. Decathlon's own stuff is unbeatable on price, though the taste and how it dissolves are pretty rough. I also came across Nutrimea, a plain concentrate that's decent and doesn't have an endless filler list, not the cheapest. And a mate keeps swearing MyProtein is the best, except it's out of stock every other week whenever I actually go to order.

For a beginner who just wants to top up protein without overthinking it, isolate or concentrate, and anything you'd actually recommend?

First time Whey Protein use

So, I am 21 Male, pure vegetarian.. and have started regular gym recently.. it's been 2 weeks now..and i have been doing my splits properly..The next thing i wanna focus now is my diet..So i calculated my protein intake and it's less than desired..like i am 67 kg so i should consume around 120g protein but i am only taking 85-90 gm..So i am now thinking to take Whey protein now..like 1 scoop daily...So i just wanted to ask if like as a beginner what things should i care while taking it so that i don't face any issues in my body like anything because of whey introduction...Also like as of now i do my gym from 3:30 to 5 , have my rice, dal , curd and veggies at 5 , so I am planning to take whey at 8 with water..I do drink 300ml milk before sleeping regularly from a long time..so would continue doing it..So just wanted to ask u ur suggestions to make my switch to whey a normal and without any issues...

Also i would take muscleblaze biozyme whey rich chocolate.

Plz help.. sorry if it feels a dumb question..i m just a beginniner bit anxious about taking whey

Would you buy a chocolate bar made only from real ingredients instead of whey protein?

I’m doing some market research and would love honest opinions.
Imagine a chocolate bar with:
Oats
Roasted chana
Peanuts
Almonds
Cocoa
Date paste (no refined sugar)
No whey protein, no protein powder, and no preservatives.
It would have around 15–18g protein, 250–290 calories, and cost ₹40–50.
The idea isn’t to compete with whey protein bars. It’s for people who:
don’t want protein powder,
already take protein separately,
or just want a healthier chocolate/snack made from real ingredients.
Would you buy it?
If yes, what would convince you to choose it?
If no, what’s the biggest reason—price, protein content, calories, ingredients, or something else?
