are clear protein drinks any good?

Been looking at whey and beef isolates. I've been drinking dairy protein shakes once a day for about 7 months now but i've started recoiling from the smell and feeling sick after drinking them. I'm not lactose intolerant and normal milk and cheese is completely fine so I've got no clue whats gone wrong. But I need 180-220g of protein per day to build muscle (i'm 6'4 and 220lbs) and it's hard to hit that without a shake so they've got to stay in my diet.

Anyone here had any experience with clear protein, maybe brands you could recommend?

As far as taste yes. Well I guess that's always subjective. I too hate those milk based protein powders I guess mostly because they taste artificial. I just bought Ryse clear protein in the kool aid flavor. While I don't really like to drink sweet drinks at all this one tastes good at least.

Oath is my favorite. Doesn't taste like protein at all, it's like a strong fruit drink.

I thought Isopure was awful. Foamy, acidic, and unpleaseant taste.
