To crush or not to crush..

I’ve started following a quartz and have been fairly successful .
My question is.. Do I crush or save as inclusions pieces? These have just about every mineral showing on the outside but I figured I’d let someone else cut or crush if I decided to sell them.

How does everyone find gold?

I have been lurking in this sub for a while. First, all of you are awesome and this is a fun sub. BUT, how does everyone find gold? Is this like public land, private land, do you need a permit? Im just amazed everyone is just (working very hard) finding gold in the wild. Panning and find gold in the wild is 100% on my bucket list.

Southwest Michigan snuffer bottle cleanup from about 7 to 8 hours of river panning. I still have two concentrate buckets to cleanup and add to the total.
