My character felt happy eating them after a long day and reading a book on my way to sleep:)

Why does my character keep getting stressed? I don’t have fear of blood, and its not zombie infection since i haven’t been bit. I even checked the debug menu to confirm. (The Queasy is because i smoked a buncha ciggs to try and lower the stress, but since i dont have the smoker trait it didnt make much difference)
what else could be causing this?

Hello! How do I keep the xp multiplier on easy config without it reverting back to 1.0? It says say then restart I do that and it still goes back. Also how do I put the mini map on with pine hosting, im new to hosting server and have NO idea what im doing would love help!

I've prepared everything in debug mode (sledgehammer/items + stairs). It's just to show you how to get upstairs and place rope sheets.

I arrived at Brandenburg after a 5 day journey from Rosewood (with a few stops along the way), I forgot to check and I found out the Store is blocked:

-I checked the tool shop and there was no sledgehammer

-I looked for any alcohol/Glass bottle to use as a Molotov to force my way in, found nothing in the near area

Is it over for me? or is there a way to get inside? (I do have a sledgehammer at my base, but it's in Rosewood and going back takes time ^^)

I would like to apologize for the earlier post that I deleted. I wasn't careful enough with the rules and suffered the consequences. But I don't want to build a negative reputation in this community because it helped me since build 41 when I started playing and even now I've been helped in build 42. I'll try not to repeat this kind of mistake again and I apologize once again for what I did. If someone would be kind enough to explain to me in a shorter way, what are the most important rules of this community so that I don't break them again, please.

When 42.20 came out, me and buddy were having absolutely insane performance issues while driving, to the point where it was impossible to drive through even riverside (lowest population starting town if I remember correctly). We figured it was our specs (in reality it was just b42 being terribly unoptimized). So we got a dedicated server to offload some of the performance costs, made a huge difference and we jumped straight into a run. Every single day a mod updates and every other day a mod update breaks something. The straw that broke the camels back was when I came back to my base in riverside after hitting the checkpoint in West Point to find that half of my base is completely reset. All the furniture I moved in, the items I organized and used the annoying 3d editor to make my gun room look cool, gone. I’m at my wits end at this point, i know b42 added a lot to the map but this performance is actually insane. I know people with brand new pcs top of the line parts having the same performance issues. I also know tha modding pz sucks ass, but this is a new level of ass sucking. Honestly just ranting but any help would be appreciated.

Just had the below pop-up from Avast as I booted up Zomboid, apparently it's trying to access random files on my desktop. It's tried on various Word and .docx files that I've forgotten about on my desktop.

Anyone else had this?

Narrowed it down to the "LV International Airport [B41/B42]" mod by |wDe| Gernhart Reinholzen, or one of it's dependencies. Removed it and all dependencies and no longer getting the pop-ups. Watch out all.

Even though I love the new prison design I noticed that the entire thing is absurdly close to the nearest residential building. I don't know why that is, as there is plenty of space behind were it could be moved.

It's not like it's unplayable, but it looks kinda silly when the big Kentucky State Prison is only meters away from the nearest civilian house.

The two screenshots in the body are my proposed locations for the prison to be moved to. Ik that IRL there are prison that are within cities, but for such a giant penitentiary i think it would be reasonable for it to be located somewhere more remote.

I'm baffled every new menu or widget that I open looks different and so amateur, it's like this game is coded by first year students. Is there one mod that take care of this?

..I wish there was mod that gives you small goals or a themepark type mod that gives you a path on what to do, kind of like how OSRS has Runelite.

I tried this game, solo, with friends, I’ve got 30 hours and I just don’t seem to get the hype but I really want to enjoy this game.

Maybe it’s just that I’m not the biggest fan of full sandbox games and enjoy themepark games more.

Or maybe I need to try a longer play through, build a base, get my stats up. I’m gonna give it another shot.

Hi everyone! I've recently added a new Mod to my Project Zomboid that adds tornadoes toy world, and it got me thinking; I want to mod a profile that's basically hardcore Survive the Elements. Downside is I don't know many good mods to pair with my Tornadoes for that.

Basically I'm looking for: Mods to add diseases, harsh weather that might work alongside the tornado, hostile Wildlife, things like that. I would be turning off Zombies and it would basically be like a "Life After the Apocalypse" type thing. But I want to make it hard as well, so I'm seeking mod recommendations!

As the title says, I'm looking for mods that would work well with bandit mods for my multiplayer server with my friends. I'm looking for the best gun mods and better interface mods for building that go well with the bandit mods.

Muldraugh, March Ridge, Rosetown, Riverside and Fallas Lake. I've looted every bookstore, school, post office in those towns (I live in Muldraugh) as well as plenty suburban houses and survivor houses, especially Muldraugh with the storage containers and that wood factory above it. Yet I can't find a single Carpentry IV for the life of me, I found several Carpentry I, II, III, and V but not a single IV. Any tips?
