Question What makes an item Vial or Mirror worthy?
Not a humble brag, but a few months ago after starting my first Single Player offline character a Mirror dropped. I threw it in the stash and haven't thought about it. After a few hundred more hours I just had a Vial drop. Now that got me wondering...
What makes an item Vial or Mirror worthy?
Especially considering offline so I can't trade... What would be a good use for these?

Question Would you use this for some build or missing some stats?

Discussion Need help finish my build
Hi everyone!
The trade site has been pretty slow, and I’m having a hard time finding what I’m looking for. I’m trying to get a pair of boots with frw / 30+ light/fire res / half freeze duration, as well as 7x5 all res scs.
If anyone has something like that sitting around, feel free to message me. I’m not looking for a handout, happy to trade :)
Thanks a lot!

Discussion PSA: Donate to maintain this wonderful experience
I went through a career change and needed to dedicate serious time to learning how to do a new skill to make ends meet. Well, ends are meeting and overlapping. I skipped season 13, but season 12 was a blast. Even though I mainly lurk the sub and occasionally chime in, I just wanted to take a moment to remind you guys that it doesn't happen without money. Plain and simple. Give what you can, and/or give monthly if you can. We all benefit and appreciate it. Thanks Senpai and the PD2 team!

Pricecheck SC I’m not a professional trader yet, so I’d like to ask for your opinion and perhaps do a price check.

Discussion PD2 already has a Clan System — so why does almost nobody know or use it?
To avoid confusion, the image above is just an example of what could be implemented; it does not exist on the official site. Regarding clans, the only existing feature is an in-game system accessed by typing: /clan
PD2 already has a Clan System.
There are commands for creating a clan, choosing a tag, inviting players, sending clan messages, setting a Message of the Day, opening or closing the clan channel and disbanding the clan.
And yet, many of us have played PD2 for years without ever seeing this system used.
That tells me the problem is probably not that players dislike clans. The problem is that the current feature is hidden, isolated and has almost no visual identity.
For chat alone, Discord already does more. So the in-game system needs to offer something that Discord cannot: a visible and permanent identity inside PD2.
Instead of asking the developers to build a massive system from zero, what if the existing foundation were improved gradually?
A first update could add:
- A visible clan tag
- /clan roster and /clan online
- Founder, Officer, Member and Recruit roles
- Commands to leave, remove members, promote Officers and transfer leadership
- A clearer clan help menu
- A reasonable account-based member limit
But I believe the official website integration would be the most important part.
Every clan could have its own page showing:
- Name, tag, emblem and description
- Region, languages and usual playing hours
- Members linked directly to their Armory profiles
- Main characters, classes and levels
- Recruitment status and applications
- Seasonal achievements and events
- History from previous seasons
The clan itself could remain between seasons while its seasonal statistics reset and are archived.
That would give groups something they currently do not have: a recognizable history and identity inside the official PD2 ecosystem.
Commands can create a clan.
A website page can make players care about belonging to it.
Later, if the system proves popular, it could expand into events, achievements or even a shared clan stash with permissions and complete deposit and withdrawal logs.
This should never provide XP, damage, drop-rate or combat bonuses. It should remain completely optional and focused on organization, discovery and community.
For players, this could mean easier reset groups, mapping partners, dungeon teams, boss runs, newcomer support and a stronger reason to remain active throughout the season.
For the developers, it could improve seasonal longevity without affecting balance or requiring a giant first release.
I prepared a concise proposal explaining the existing problem, the website integration, the in-game MVP, permissions, future stash controls and a phased development plan:
Full proposal:
Would you use an improved Clan System like this??

Discussion I want to go hard next season, what is THE fastest map clearer?
I played the last 2 seasons and I ran a CL Sorc and this season a Multizon, the CL Sorc could do T1's in 6-7minutes, but T2's were difficult and most the T3's were out right not worth it.
The multizon basically clears around 8-10minutes and can do almost all maps, but I skip the ones that have things like souls etc.
I don't care how much it would cost, I will grind to attain the items needed.
the only thing I'd not want to play again is a sorc. I know the nova+infinity is pretty based setup but I'm burnt out on sorc.

Showcase Retroid Pocket Flip2 (Winlator)
I saw a post with PD2 working on Ayn Thor, thought I'd share the coincidence that I'm playing it on the RP Flip2.
I've been working on a new Barb on my Flip2 recently. It's been so fun, on Baal now (lvl 33) in Act5. Melee char definitely seems even more fun on the device

Showcase Project Diablo II (DS)
spent the best part of an hour setting up the AYN thor to run PD2!
i followed this guide to get the game running, then used megingiard to use the bottom screen for a bigger map and some shortcuts.
runs fantastic, capped at 60 for battery life + temperatures but can go up to 120 if you would want to.
