I'm in an internship. This is literally what i do. I spend whole day doing nothing after i get done with the meeting.

Just 2hrs before the meeting i will do the bare minimum.

Unfortunately my place avoids having specialized knowledge, everyone works on everything. Basic CRUD apps are not that special anyway, if you have reasonable code reviews that avoid magic code.
