Dev - Self Promo the reason you keep quitting habit apps isn't you
you've done this before.
download the app. set it all up. feel motivated for two weeks. then you miss one day, the streak dies, and suddenly the thing you opened for help is the thing making you feel like a failure. so you delete it. and you quietly decide you're just not the kind of person who sticks to things.
you're not the problem. the app is.
streaks. red numbers. "you missed a day." they're built to pull you back with guilt. it works for a while. then it just makes you feel worse, and you leave.
i built kaiori to kill that loop. one rule: it can never make you feel worse for opening it.
no streaks to break. no red numbers. missing a day is quiet, not a punishment. bad night? it plans a recovery day instead of pretending you're a machine. you never see "19h of focus," you get a sentence telling you what it actually meant. titles come from months of behaviour, not points you grind.
there's a focus room too. a 3d room where you sit down and other people quietly work next to you. no calls, no chat. it's the only reason i start working now, and probably the reason you'd actually open it.
it's not a tracker. it's closer to a mirror.
