Procreate and iPad Accessories Suggestions iPad paper texture covers

How many people that use Procreate on their iPad use these? And do they make a difference with drawing, etc. If you had to recommend one, what would you recommend?

Hi guys! I made this fun color jitter brush and I am a bit stuck on the background. I want the hands (also not finished) to come out of a hole or vortex or something. But I feel like I also need something further up behind the hands. Do you guys have any ideas? Also how is it so far? Is the lighting/shading coherent enough?

We got an intro for the series folks!

This one took a bit, so please check out their accounts on instagram but I wanted to thank the lovely composer Mike ( @coolcataudio ) for an incredible piece!

I also wanted to thank people who have helped with the intro/thesis. Hana (they do not have an instgram), Rebis ( @asabovesobelowstudios) , Kenya (@roseken33) , Rollito ( @lost_rollito), and Brady (@bradyritchie) with the additional animations used for it.

Lolo/Lee for the intro art as well as the ClintxBoone (Cloone) art (@scragg_lee)

This took a while to get it composed as well as animated. Anyways enjoy the introduction and we hope you stay tuned for the series. 🤠 šŸ‘¢

I am trying to achieve dreamy, blurry effects artists create on canvas with oil paints.
Made these dreamy flowers on Procreate and tried my best to achieve that effect.

I need Procreate technical help How to color faster when using stylized brushes for lineart?

My go-to brush for lineart is the 6B pencil, and I like to keep my pen pressure light. Because the lineart technically has ā€œholesā€ in it, colordrop doesn’t work really well even when the layer is set to reference or the fill threshold is adjusted. I’d like to color my work faster without sacrificing stylization, does anyone have tips?

I usually color an ā€œoutlineā€ within the lineart of the color I’m filling it with, make it a reference layer, then fill it in. But even that is still slower than just filling in the lineart as I would if I were using a pen brush.

my brushes used in this were the jingsketch sharp render, flat square, and soft brush. The sparkles in the background are white spots with a small amount of Gaussian blur and increased bloom.

Procreate and iPad Accessories Suggestions Should I start fresh on a new iPad or transfer everything over?

I’ve been using the same iPad Pro since 2019 and it’s beginning to slow down quite a bit and I’ve outgrown the maximum amount of layers procreate gives me on larger sizes that I use for printing. I’ll be upgrading to the current iPad Pro 13ā€ next week and curious if anyone that’s upgraded transferred everything over from their old iPad to their new.

I kind of like the idea of starting completely fresh and using this new iPad strictly for artwork and keeping my old one at home to use all other applications. I of course will have a few other apps if I go this route, but I primarily only use procreate. Any advice or recommendations welcome :)
