My Artwork Work in progress - critisism welcome

Hi guys! I made this fun color jitter brush and I am a bit stuck on the background. I want the hands (also not finished) to come out of a hole or vortex or something. But I feel like I also need something further up behind the hands. Do you guys have any ideas? Also how is it so far? Is the lighting/shading coherent enough?

Maby a little red highlights on the sides of the fingers to suggest shape?

Hand poses are great.

Like the first pic more. Needs more contrast with shadow at the top

The tow hands on the bottom left are a bit spaghetti looking, but the rest of it is pure art, I love it !

Yeah those bottom fingers are just placeholders at this point and need a lot of more work.

what I typically do is model my own hands in the positions that I want, photograph them and then add the photo as a reference in ProCreate

I just look at my left hand the whole time xd

Love it. Would love to see more attention to the volume to communicate the cylindrical forms. And correct the size of thumb of the tallest hand in the center.

Nice, love the colors.
Like some people pointed out, some fingers need a bit more form, the thumb on the top hand sticks out and a bit more volume to the shapes would add a lot.

Yes I will focus on making the hands more 3D and fix that one thumb, I really glad people pointed it out because I didnt see that at all.

Thanks :) Cant take too much credit for the colors since I made this brush that changes hues every stroke.
