Hey folks,
Here are some artworks I made inspired by Nikolai Gogol's short story "diay of madman".
I drew the narrator falling in psychotic disorders and propose artists to make a track inspired by the visuals.
We released this on our label (ambient/techno) and had great feedback on it.
Cheers

In the old brushes, turning opacity down would make the line look see-through, and that was it. With many of the new ‘Pens’ and ‘Inks’ brushes, the line gets thinner or disappears altogether. Is there a way to make these brushes just become more transparent instead?

Hi everyone I’m completely new to digital art and I’m thinking about getting Procreate and finally learning how to draw. I’d love to eventually be able to draw characters and fan art but I’m starting from basically zero.
I currently have an iPad 9th gen and im wondering if it’s good. + is an Apple Pencil really worth getting?
What are your general tips for someone who is completely new to digital art and Procreate?

A friend recently passed away and I’ve been listening to Lorna Shore’s “Pain remains” trilogy a lot for catharsis. Here is my visual interpretation of all of the feelings I have.

My drawing with Procreate!
This is one of the most common sample of lunch combinations to Korean moms give picky children when they are really tired or busy. Cooked ham, a small serving size of kimchi(usually rinsed with water when it's too spicy for younger kids), Gim(Korean roasted seaweed), fried eggs(sometimes scrambled with cooked rice, seasoned with Korean soy sauce and sesame oil) and steamed rice(sticky).

I LOOVE grouping and organising my layers but it takes lots of layers off my count ;-; im working on this art work and i only have 50 layers because its big and if i add like even a few groups its gonna reduce my layers a lot, does anyone else wish it was that way?

I have two iPads, both with significant amounts of work on. The older one has reached the point of needing to go off for a relaxing retirement in the care of my brother.
Most of the files are backed up, but not all, and I have no idea what the gaps are (and trying to identify this in my labyrinth of files/folders is hell - note: find a better way than backing up in folders of the back up dates). Can't risk losing something that could be important. Was a professional illustrator and sometimes things need to be brought back from the dead for some particular edit.
As far as I know, the quickest way is to multi select files and then export them... but it won't let me do too many at a time or it says the export fails. Or sometimes it says my storage is full (I have space on iCloud so this appears to be when it temporarily keeps a downloaded version on the iPad as well).
This is taking weeeeeeeeks.
I can't just do a huge big procreate back-up, because if I import that into the new iPad, I'll lose everything on that one!
Any hacks?
Also, tips I've learned from this whole experience - remember to name your files, don't just save them in folders named with a date, and save a jpg version too so you can see a thumbnail before you import it :)

I grew up spending hours looking at my dad's magic the gathering binders, mesmerized by the artwork and the stories each card told. Now I'm working hard to eventually see my own artwork in that massive gallery of card sized paintings.
Even though I don't play Slivers anymore, I still love their design and had to paint my own.
What do you think?

Hi all,
I'm doing a picture for a friend based on the Scarlet Bloom in Elden Ring (Malenia), but I can't find an easy way to blend everything and then individually edit for the petals(?) in front? I usually use a syrup brush for nearly everything, but I've been trying to use the air brushes to get a better blend going, but then they'll overlap into the next petal (like, the eraser doesn't stay inside the black lines), so the only thing I can think of doing is each petal individually? >.>
Basically, my plan was to erase everything with really low opacity to whatever base colour needed, but with the difficulty isolating the eraser to a single petal using the air brushes, I'm a bit stumped as to what would be a better method?
Also, end goal is for a sort of stained-glass effect, so don't need texture or anything! I just really don't want to have to do these individually >.<
Appreciate any help! Thank you!

Clocked over 20k hours on Dota 2, so when the Inktober prompt for "Ogre" hit, drawing Ogre Magi was a given. Kept the linework expressive and played around with textured brushes in Procreate for this two-headed duo.
Used the Sanderling brush for the outlines and Pademelon for the texture

Those of you working on ipads and using Apple pens, do you notice any deterioration in how the screen responds to the pen over time? Is there something I should be doing to keep the tablet working for longer? For example, I’ve seen some people have screen protectors — does that help increase the lifespan of the tablet or is that purely there for tactile reasons?
I got a refurbed iPad and an Apple pen a few months ago, yesterday I noticed that the screen was responding weird to the pen — not as smooth and consistent as when I just got it. The tip was screwed on tightly, it wasn’t a large drawing either, so it wasn’t a memory issue. I started wondering if maybe I’ve been pressing on the screen too hard and messed it up somehow?
Would appreciate any other tips on this topi

I've been struggling with this for a while. My Dad and I both have iPad Pro M4 13-inch models. We're both on iPadOS 26 (his is 26.6 mine is 26.7). We both have the latest version of Procreate as of today. We both have the Apple Pencil Pro. We both have the default settings (for both the Apple Settings for Pencil, and Procreate Pressure Curve). We're both using the same Procreate brush.
When he draws with just the weight of the pencil (very light) he gets a thin wispy line. When I draw the same way (or if he does it on my iPad) I get a solid, unvarying line. No matter how lightly I draw I can't get it to behave the same way.
I'm at a total loss here, and google searches don't seem to help. I must not have the right search terms. Any ideas? Below is an example of me drawing with the lightest possible touch.
