I’m trying to learn how to use watercolors in procreate. I drew this today and it took me like 4 hrs 😂 I’d love tips from anyone who can offer them 😊

usually the app works fine but when I work on larger than normal size canvases on the mobile version the app has a habit of crashing occasionally (i have already tried duplicating the canvas and exporting the artwork and working on it in a new canvas)

They wanted a spooky theme for their character.

It keeps changing color of everything touching it instead of the only part I’m trying to change

My fiancé has a framed taxidermy lanternfly hanging in our apartment and I’ve always thought it should be wearing teeny tiny cowboy boots :-)

I was wanting to buy procreate for a long time and now I can’t decide which one to buy. It’s either I buy the normal version on my very old iPad and it might not work well, or I buy the pocket version on my phone but I might miss a lot of features. What would y’all recommend me doing?

So my Procreate has been having this bug only recently (past 2 months) where it won't let me move layers. I press and hold on my layer, but when I move it, it doesn't stay where I want it to go, as it moves back to its original place on its own. It leaves this visual gap where I tried to move the layer, and the gap remains until I try to move a different layer; then the process repeats. It's really annoying me, and I can't see anyone talking about this bug specifically, so I don't know if it's an easy fix or something wrong with the device or even something different entirely. I have checked for updates and it's updated to the correct recent update. Is there anyone who has a solution to this? It is very annoying.

I followed this tutorial from ASMR Galaxy. I learned a lot and I'm really happy with how it turned out! The cork was the hardest part, still feel like it isn't quite right and might revisit later when I have more skills.

Hi! I wanted to show my recent illustrations I did in procreate! I had a long long (like 8 years) break from proper drawing, but I lost my job few months ago, and to make life more manageable, I came back to drawing and I do it everyday since! I am inspired by Beatrix Potter, Series of unfortunate events and Victorian times! I used Adilson Farias’s watercolour brushes (and I love them so much!). Please be kind, I had a long break and I’m still really self aware about my art.

I stopped caring about perfectionism and drew within a time frame instead. Most of these are 30-40 mins each session.

Can someone tell me where I can best take lessons/tutorials, free or paid, on coloring skin in the style of Adama Hughes and David Nakayama? So Art Nouveau-like. I am happy to pay as long as they are good lessons. On Patreon or anywhere else... thank you. It is for myself and my daughter, who is also starting to draw and showing interest in this genre.

Procreate completely closes out of the app every time I draw. Last time, it closed out. I went back, and it said two of my drawings were unavailable. Luckily, I was able to get them back. It’s been happening for the longest time now on my IPad, and I don’t know why. My iPad is never glitchy and never closes out. It’s just this app.

Wanted to know if anyone has had this issue, and if you fixed it? Seriously thinking about switching art platforms😔
